Being a regular Aldi's shopper, I've been meaning to be desperate enough to try this. No, I just haven't had any in a long while, but I think I tried it once before at my dad's. It's pretty unmemorable.
But it also isn't bad. I'm having it at room temperature, and it reminds me of a room temperature Rolling Rock. If you haven't tried this style warm, you should. It brings out everything - aroma, taste, the good and the bad. Cold I am afraid this would have about as much taste as a Rolling Rock, and maybe not as smooth.
The beer accomplishes what it is supposed to, though, so for the style it is fine. A bit bland. Remind me to wait a real long time before I buy it again.

Poured from a green bottle dated 05-2011.
A- pours a pale straw color with a small white head that lasts only a few seconds, barely any lacing.
S- sweet grains, corn, skunk, that's about it. Very clean.
T- stale wheat, corn, metallic, ends with a strange bitterness, but not a usual hop bitterness. Mouthfeel is very empty and watery. Fairly high carbonation, like tonic water.
Overall this was a 'meh' beer for me. Almost like a very watered down Heinekin, not something I would buy again.

Drank this at my father in laws. Green bottle, I know your kind... As such, expectations are low. Date of 07-2011 on the back, so I'm assuming this is somewhat fresh (relatively speaking). Here we go:
A - unspectacular...pale lager, check. Head quickly fades.
S - not much smell, what is there is skunk
T - OK, as good as I could hope for. A little sweetness up front, a little tinny on the back end. For a lager, I've had worse.
M - Light, pretty crisp.
D - Plenty drinkable...if I wanted to put away a six pack and not feel too full, this would work.
In all, it's ok for what it is. Wouldn't recommend it, as there are better lagers out there, but for a cheap brewski, it'll do.

Pour a clear golden color with a nice white head. Head falls to just about nothing. Thin, airy lace.
Typical green bottle lager smell, bit skunky and a bit musty. Smells of grains.
Taste is what you'd expect from the aroma. Mildly skunked and of grains. Bit of sweetness to it.
Thin to medium bodied with a carbonation bite.
Eh. Not worth it really, typical euro lager.

12 Ounce green bottle poured into a pint glass
Appearance: Light clear yellow in color with a little bit of white head that diminishes really quickly.
Smell: Strong smell of sweet corn with little else present
Taste: Very sweet taste with not much else to compliment it. The sweetness is a little hard to describe, it actually seems like there was some extra sweetener added.
Note: If you are trying to get someone into beer drinking (and they hate the bitterness of beer) this may be a good start because it has so much sweetness but other then that it is too sweet for my liking.

Picked up on discount at Ronkonkama Beverage this afternoon. Looks like Bavaria, or Heinekin, or 3 Horses, or any one of dozens of nearly identical pale Eurotrash lagers.
Pours golden with very little head and almost no nose. Taste is similar. Very little barley or hops really. This is drinkable but otherwise anonymous. Just another face in the crowd.

Poured into my pint glass the beer is crystal clear yellow. About a fingers worth of bright white head is acheived through an aggressive pour. A thin web of of lace is left clinging to the edges of the glass.
The aroma is super sweet with hints of skunky hops and corn.
The flavor is almost non existant. A faint bitterness and wet cardboard are about the only thing that sets this apart from water.
Light highly carbonated body.
Overall about as good as a beer from Aldis can be.

Poured a light to medium straw hue with a one finger foamy white head. There was decent retention and good lacing.
The smell featured a lightly sweet malt and a grassy hop.
The taste consisted of sweet adjunct and an otherwise grainy malt. A light balancing hop detected as well.
The mouthfeel was typical of the style.
Overall a decent lager at a good price point.

Heres another beer I've only seen at ALDI.
Pours a clear sunshine and hay colored yellow. Not much bubbling and a very quick head. No retenion at all. But this is typical in my experience with pale euro lagers.
Very lightly toasted malts, Wonderbead malt smell and some faint Earthy, musty hops.
Starts with watered down toast that has been left on the kitche counter about half an hour after its out of the toaster. Then the faint earthen hops slowly push the faint malts away. Leaving you with a faintly musty finish.
This is a simple, yet somewhat musty palated beer. Despite that, this is a good beer to drink while doing work around the house. Not bad or overly watery, but nothing that recquires your full attention.

Pours a golden color with limited to no head or lacing. Smells of a pinch of skunk and some grassy hops.
A somewhat typical Euro lager taste which finishes a bit more dry and bitter than the usual. Odd metallic bitter aftertaste that may limit the drinkability.
High carbonation combined with the dry finish and light body make this a good summertime beer.
While I do prefer Hollande and Heineken to this, it is still an workable choice for the price.

11.2 ounce bottle from Aldi, a store that I knew had some beer but never checked it out. I figured they would only have German stuff but they had this (Klassiek), a German pilsener, and some beer from Guatemala or some South American County. Only 5.99 a six pack for either. Best Before 02/2010.
After I pop the cap open, skunk. This beer smells exactly like Heineken. Theres a pinch of hops and metal.
Its about as crystal clear pale yellow as a beer gets.
It has prickling carbonation with a slightly watery mouthfeel. Doesn't seem as dry as other Dutch pale lagers. Initially has some intense bitterness and a metallic aftertaste. Theres a little bit of malt, not very good tasting grainy malt. The bitterness mellows the more you drink of it.
If you looking for a cheaper, more bitter, slightly crappier Heineken, than this is a good bet, at only 6 bucks for a 6 pack it's not a bad price, I'm not sure if I would go back to it again, maybe for parties.

Pours a typical but not off-putting clear yellow with a decent white head. Aroma is crisp, malty, and actually inviting. Strong, malty flavor has just a hint of yeast and a touch of banana. Texture is lively, quite fizzy and tingly, so it dances on the way down.

12oz green bottle
date on bottle 12-2007
Klassiek Lager Beer was light golden in color with good clarity. The head was white, average in size, had decent retention, and left some lacing. The aroma was noble hops with some light malt. The taste was crisp, clean and quite refreshing, european hops over a light malt base with a dry, lightly bitter finish. It was medium-light in body with plenty of carbonation. Drinkabity was above average. It's a nice, easy drinking lager.

Poured from a bottle, with no date, into a Pils glass. A thin white head sat on top of a clear gold body. A generous amount of bubbles race to the top. A sweet, skunky, cabbage aroma greets the nose. Definately an initial turn off. A light grainy malt and that skunk coat my tongue. Some bitterness but not much more than a wafting. Fairly dry aftertaste. I won't be returning to get this again.

Klassïek "Lager Beer" by Bavaria Brouwerij N.V. pours a bright, clear amber from a 12oz green glass bottle. Head goes to about two fingers before falling to a rocky broken cap of foam and lace.
Nose is of stale grass and weeds with mold... kind of like when you clean off your lawn mower deck when it is caked up with old dead grass clippings.
Palate is old dead grass clippings with some bitter hops and the bite of carbonation.
This one should have never left Bavaria Brouwerij N.V.
