Left over 12oz bottle from my wife's 6-pack poured into a pint glass
Pours in typical lager fashion, dirty brown with little head and obvious carbonation. Nothing really offered in the nose, not sure what that smell is but all euro lagers have it. Taste is a little more than I expected from a gluten free beer; I assume because it's not sorghum based, and therefore not overbearingly sweet. Mouthfeel is medium bodied and surprisingly refreshing. Not a beer I'd search out, but not bad for gluten free.

I was so elated when I saw this Damm beer in the big box o' beer that my local, in-person trader, tone77, dropped off that I thought to myself, "Hot Damm, I am anxious to try that beer, Damm it!"
The finger of rocky, fluffy, bone-white head looked like meringue atop the beer as it slowly fell like a souffle. Color was a pale lemon-yellow with NE-plus quality clarity. Nose was redolent with Saaz hops, not skunk as one previous reviewer misidentified it. It had a really nice grassiness to it without being ruined with adjuncts and believe me, I am able to spot the difference at this point! Mouthfeel was soft, lightly carbonated with a grassy, slightly metallic taste on the tongue. Finish was semi-dry and definitely lager-like in its mild unobtrusiveness. I will not say that it was the best example of the style that I have ever tried, but its gluten-free status makes it highly recommendable to anyone that has that as a concern. It was decent, but it could be good under the right circumstances.

The beer pours a clear golden straw with a nice foamy head that dissipates to a ring while you drink it. There is a little half decent lacing.
The aroma is of some sweet malts, hay, hops and skunk. Pretty much like many lagers.
It tastes sweet pretty much throughout. Nice and light malts with some mild hops with a twinge of skunking. The finish is finally a little dry. It's balance tips in the favor of sweet, but that is OK with me.
Mouthfeel is a hair under middle of the road sweet, maybe a little watery with semi lively carbonation and a mild dry peppery feel at the end.
Overall, for a mild celiac, this is a dream beer in the lager realm. I'm going to have to say in that arena its in the high 3's.

Poured from a 33cl bottle into a pint glass, a date of 8/13 on the back. This pours a light golden color with a mid sized off white head. The smells are of light malts, light hops, a little adjuncts. The feel is medium. The taste is good enough light malts, some green bottle funk, okay.

I didn't realize this was a special gluten-free (or low gluten) beer until I read about it online. Interesting
Pours with a big, fizzy white head on a clear and golden beer. Lots of bubbles are in the glass. Head retention is good and I get a fair amount of lace sticking to my glass.
Aromas include hay and grassy notes, along with floral hops and a grainy, pale malt aspect. The crisp smells seem spot-on for a light lager.
The taste features a light malt sweetness, coupled with a low bittering from grassy and floral hops. Very pilsner-like
The feel is clean, light-bodied and bubbly with a slightly sweet finish. Aftertastes have lingering grassy hops.
Overall I'd say this is a good version of a light lager; not a bold or flashy beer, but does the job of a light thirst quencher.

Estrella Damm Daura has a medium-to-thick, soapy, white head and a clear, bubbly, golden appearance. There is not much lacing left on the glass, though. The aroma is of sweet, pale lager (malt, bread, sugar), and the flavor is the same, with maybe some sugary corn syrup and a touch of hops. Mouthfeel is light to medium, and Estrella Damm Daura finishes crisp, clean refreshing, dry, and highly drinkable. Overall, I was quite surprised with how well they pulled this off. I think it’s excellent!

Poured a 1" white head with a decent lifespan. The body is a clear straw yellow color with fairly lively effervescence. It smells faintly of grass and not really much else. The taste is extremely light, a touch sweet, and has a very low hoppy finish but it persists. This is on par with BMC beers, you're just paying a little extra for the import from Spain.

This "premium" Spanish lager pours a clean, clear, and attractive golden, with a fine 2-finger white head. Lace is attractive fence-row-style, too.
Nose is malty and adjunct. I get corn. Not good.
Tastes overly sweet and adjunct, too. To me, this is little better than the major lagers out there. Didn't know it was gluten-free, but I can't get past the generic taste. No, thanks.

Pint glass. Light straw color with a finger of head. Fair amount of bubbles visible. Looks nice.
Smells of honey, little spice and slight metallic. It smells better than most other beers in this style.
Pretty tasty too. Honey, mild bitter hops with some dryness to them, a malty sweetness to close it out. It has the slightest metallic taste in the background.
Crisp and light body with moderate carbonation.
Surprise to me. I'm enjoying this beer. By far the best Euro pale lager I've had.

Poured from a brown 11.2 oz. bottle. Has a pale yellow color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is heavy with grains. Taste is a bit unusual, grains, wet hay, some bitterness, not very good. Feels light in the mouth and overall I did not care much for this beer.

Preface: I have a gluten allergy/intolerance (delayed skin reaction,) but thankfully not celiac. I have drank [many bottles of] many of the best-rated, highly-coveted beers of the world (my personal favorites: Trappistes Rochefort 10, St. Bernardus 12.) I have also had several different gluten free beers. I don't drink North American domestics. I'm not a novice lol.
For a gluten free beer, Estrella Damm Daura is good. It's my favorite of all the gluten free beers I have tried. While it is a basic, generic style lager, it actually tastes like beer (as opposed to many gluten free beers made with rice, most having a rice wine-ish aftertaste.) For a beer aficionado who has no problems with gluten, this beer is going to be mediocre. For a person who has no other choice, it's good.
Pros: Tastes like beer.
Cons: Simple; Expensive.
