A: The beer is clear light yellow in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a finger high bright white head that gradually died down, leaving a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface and lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light aromas of grassy hops are present in the nose.
T: The taste is similar to the smell, except that it has additional hints of corn and grainy malts plus a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels light-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is easy to drink and doesn't have any offensive aromas or flavors but it seems to be somewhat bland.

Can acquired in Ibiza, Spain. My can depicted an ABV of 4.5% and also had "Skol" marked on it, though that's not to confuse it with the Brazilian brewed Skol beer. "Damm Barcelona" was clear on the can. Can served into a Guinness pint glass. Reviewed from notes taken April 2011.

A: Pours a five finger head of no cream but decent thickness and good retention. Colour is a clear yellow.

Sm: Light clean barley aroma. Cream. Actually quite pleasant for what it is. It's nice to have a Spanish beer that doesn't reek of artificial malts.

T: Clean barley body. Cream isn't present. A bit of hop flavour is present in the background but adds up to little. Very simple. Imbalanced and poorly constructed.

Mf: Awful. Too dry; too coarse. Sort of the opposite of what the style should be. This is ber, not Saharah cider.

Dr: A cheap beer of shit quality. Move along, lads. Don't purchase this one.

12 oz.

Pours a light clear golden color, coarse white head dissipates quickly.

Smells of light smooth barley malts and corn adjunct.

Tastes of dry light barley malt with some corn sugar sweetness.

Light body with bubbly effervescence.

Overall a standard euro pale, good thirst quenching body and accompanies food well. Not something you would drink on its own for the sake of the beer itself, but it does what it is supposed to.

A: thin head on a clear straw colored body.

S: sweet corn and pale malts. herbal and honey notes.

T: sharp and more bitter/spicey than expected. grassy and herbal with some pale malts.

M: light body and high carbonation. crisp, refreshing.

Overall: very drinkable and refreshing but not too memorable though better than expected.

Pours a yellow straw color with a white sticky head that is soapy in texture. Retention is great while a every other sip produces a ring around the glass.

Aroma is clean with some grassy hop and clean honey sweet malt.

Grassy hop bitterness blended with mild honey sweet malt that defines the great European mainstream lagers.

Light in body, high in carbonation, this lager meets every characteristic and flavor that this style commands.

This Euro Lager meets and surpasses this demanded characteristic perfectly.

A: Pale brass with a brilliant clarity reveals a strong, quick paced effervesce. A frothy and clumpy bready white head is fairly solid on the hold. Lacing was clumpy and bready, holding well on the glass. Visually, an almost exact match for their daura.

S: A bit skunky upon first uncapping. Not much complexity wise. Faint barley grains with almost no distinguishable character.

T: The flavor was barley gains, a touch of lemon straw. A bit starchy and floury on the close with some sour lemon notes. A bit more harsh in character then their daura, same by style.

M: The mouthful was a bit rough texture wise, bubbly, creamy turning washy real quick.A bit alkaline as well.

O: Overall while the daura was bearable, though forgettable, I only wish I could forget this. A total drain pour, a struggle to consume and totally irrelevant. I was a bit worried at first of having the same beer, same style as the daura, despite different packaging, I only wish I could take that back.

Yellow with a white head, dissipates moderatly with a bit of lacing. Smells of malts and weak spicy hops

Pretty solid example of the style. The drinkability was high and the flavor was typical with a hint of light fruity malts. Hop spice was quite low with some citrus. Very loose and watery on the palate with a smooth refreshing finish.

The head on this Euro pale lager is actually fairly creamy... about a finger tall, and it sticks around for a minute. Lots of rising bubbles, and lots of lacing, surprisingly, with an everlasting thin skim of head. The beer has a nice, golden, clear colour.

It smells like many other beers of this style, but has no skunky smell like some do. There's a bit of grass in there. There's something just slightly off about it, though... like it's 95% straw/hay, but 5% of it is silage or "country air".

The taste is poor compared to the look. At the tip of the tongue, it tastes just like blood at first... iron-y. Maybe this is the beer of choice for Spanish vampires... I dunno. I taste a bit of rice/corn, which is never a strong selling feature. There may be a bit of spice or lemon WAY in the background. It does get better as the glass / can wears on... it went decently with the old gouda I started eating with it.

The feel of it has a nice balance. Refreshing, not too bitter or dry, and not watery.

It's a drinkable beer, but nothing special.

11.2oz brown bottle. Freshness date on neck label. Pilsner glass.
It pours a pale straw gold color with the whitest of whites head. Some trailing and patchy lace.
A smell of dry hay, grainy malt followed by mild resinous hoppy aroma. Just a faint whiff of vodka came and left.
It has a surprising maltiness to the taste, considering the light color. A bit overly sweet, yet the mild bitter hops are able to gain a little ground to create a very balanced flavor profile.
This is a very pleasant brew for a hot, muggy evening.
Pairs very well with grilled brats and grilled mixed veggies!

Was looking for something new and light, and came across this at the NSLC.

Pours a very light yellow gold with a finger of nice white head. Visible carbonation in the glass provides the head with a bit of lasting duration, but it eventually settles down to a thin cap.

Faint smell of that reminds me of sweet corn. Also, a brief trace of alcohol at the start.

Taste is fairly clean. None of that corn that I was detecting in the nose, nor is it as sweet as the nose made it out to be. A bit of a honey sweetness is available, accompanied by a faint amount of hops. Fairly dry finish.

Faily solid Euro Pale Lager. Not amazing, but better than average.

Brown 33 cl long-necked bottle with red labels with estrellas (stars) on both neck and body.

A: Pour is pale golden with a medium-large creamy head that dissipates into nice lacings.

S: Malt gives it a breday tone. Bitter hops balances the malt nicely. Sadly there's a faint smell of corn.

T: Breadyness from malt is balanced with bitter hops. Faint corn - but very faint.

M: Aftertaste is rather long and holds a little bitterness for the whole time. Body is creamy medium-full and carbonation is rich.

D: Not a bad Euro Pale Lager but if you're into complex beers this is probably a not!

It pours out a very clear golden yellow, almost honey color. A dense shaving cream kind of head sticks around for a while. I thought I might be buying an adjuct beer with a fancy foreign label but this beer actually smells like it was brewed with the quality ingredients. Grainy sweet malt aroma with a very faint hint of hops. Good body, proper carbonation, and the kind of flavor that a lager should have. If I didn't know any better I would guess I was drinking a German import like Hoffbrau or Lowenbrau or Hacker Pschorr. Lightly sweet malted barley flavor with a touch of hop bitterness on the backside. Exactly like a lager ought to be. Quite drinkable.

A- Pours a golden yellow color with a white head tha leaves a good amount of lacing.

S- The aroma is some pale grainy malt with some grassy notes and a hint of hops. 

T- The taste like the aroma starts out with smooth with some grassy grain and finishes with a quick snappy bite. 

M- The mouthfeel is light bodied with a good amount of carbonation.

D- Overall, not a bad Euro Lager. It is not something that will blow you away, but it is a solid beer for what it is. I could easily drink a few of these in a session.

Presentation: 12oz brown pop top

Appearance: Bright golden beer with a white cap which soon fades to a substantial feel and leaves a bit of lace

Smell: Sweet, mildly grainy, and with a strong and kinda odd kick of fruitiness...no real hop presence

Taste: Odd mix between malt, something solvent-like, and bitter hops...kind of unsorted, though it does have a lot more flavor than is typical of the style...

Mouthfeel: Light to medium bodied, crisp

Drinkability: Don't really crave another...

Conclusion: It's alright, but I probably wouldn't buy it again...

A- Dark straw color, minimal head retention.

S- Grassy, mild floral aroma.

T- More malt than hops, good crisp taste with more flavor than a typical Euro pale lager, nice mild bite at the finish.

M- Pretty smooth, a little grainy.

D- A decent brew. Good flavor and smooth. I bought a case for 10.99 which is a steal. I do question whether or not this should be considered a Euro pale lager. It tastes different than many other Euro pales I've tasted.

A bright and clear straw yellow – capped by an above-average head of white foam that’s leaving a ring lace. I think these intl brews, without all the U.S. preservatives, are a step up the ladder.

Subtle malts in the aroma, but pilsners never have a powerful smell. Taste is fairly sharp and clean of malts along that has a well balanced hop finish. Not a bad session pilsner, and it comes with enough flavor to hold your interest. Sweetish and crisp.

Really, the no chemicals for these brews make them very fresh and tasty – yeah, even for a lager.

Served in a pilsner glass the beer pours a pale light gold, with a good sized white head. Lots of lacing stays on the glass. It smells pretty much like any typical macro lager, grainy with some malt. The taste is like a typical macro-lager as well, it's pretty grainy with a bit of malt and hop taste. This beer is more bitter than sweet, however. The mouthfeel is light, but it's not watery at all. Drinkability is OK. But for the price, I might as well have bought a Bud instead. It's not a bad beer, but it's not great either. That being said, I'd drink it again if there weren't any better choices available.

It's an average example of an average style. Certaily better than American Lagers, there are a few problems. Smells like peppy le pue. Have to let it out-gas. After which, the beer improves dramatically. Fresh fruit flavors of peaches, pears, and green apples, with a crisp 'snap' in the finish. Body is fair, but falls short of creamy or smooth. Pretty ordinary stuff, but there are better beers for the price.
