1277th Review on BA
Draft to 5oz
@Big Bear Brewing
App- Very see through yellow with a lot of bubble activity at the same time with a 1/2 finger white head. Spotted cling down the glass.
Smell- Light and crisp. Not much there. It is a blonde though. You pick up on it from the go. Wasnt one way or another good vs. bad.
Taste- Finally one ive liked! Nice simple light flavors. Little malty with a bit of wheat flavors. On the finish was a little bit of lemon pepper.
Mouth- Pretty average for the style. A light body with a fairly high carbonation level. Residual malts and lemony flavors.
Drink- Its an average beer but probably my favorite blonde so far. Just dont like the style.

Pours a super pale yellow with a 1/2 inch white head that fades to nothing. Weak ring lacing on the drink down. Smells of watery malt and perfume. Not surprisingly tastes of watery malt and perfume. Somewhat flat and watery in the mouth. Horrible beer.

On-tap at Big Bear Mountain Brewery
A: The pour is a hazy pale straw color with a finger or so worth of white foam.
S: A sour lager? A lemony flavor along with some light cracker malts and that's about it. At least it's not skunky...
T: A light hop bitterness with some hints of grassy hops. A very light beer overall with some light cracker flavored malt and again the lemony tartness.
M: Certainly light in body but a nice lively carbonation that gives the beer a nice crispness rather than the limp feeling of all the other beers.
D: I know this beer isn't supposed to be sour, but it was probably the best thing about this beer. Is that a bad thing?
