Brewed with all malt and without the use of any added sugar, subtle fruity esters combine with a blend of Pride of Ringwood and Saaz hops, to produce a crisp, golden lager that's full of flavour.

Purchased I. A bottle at Stoagie's in Cool Springs. Good selection of beers by the way, and they even had a couple of taps which was a pleasant suprise for a cigar store.
This beer poured a clear straw color with very little lasting head. The appearance and aroma were pretty average for a standard decent quality lager, but the taste was something more. Very crisp, and almost had a small hint of fruit... What fruit I can't be sure of since I just quit smoking and my tastebuds are still a little shot. I still say cheers to this lager by what I'm told is Australia's only Australian owned big brewery.

A: The beer is slightly hazy and a darker shade of yellow in color with a slight amount of visible carbonation. It poured with medium-sized white bubbles covering most of the surface that quickly faded away, leaving just a narrow ring of bubbles around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of fruity esters are present in the nose.
T: Like the smell, the taste is quite fruity from the esters produced during the fermentation process - apples and pears seem to stand out in particular. Neither sweetness nor bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels a bit more than light-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer isn't overly exciting, although the fruity esters in the smell and taste do mask any possible skunk that could be coming from the green bottle.

Pours a clear golden color with white head. Cereal grains and a bit of biscuit on the nose; follows onto the palate. Light to medium bodied. Finishes pretty clean.

The aroma is very beery and grainy and the appearance is gold and clear. The flavor is basic pale lager and again very beery.

Format: a 375mL brown stubbie with a standard macro label.

Appearance: light yellow in colour with chunky carbonation. Very little to no head. Looks pretty ordinary.

Aroma: light malts with a tiny bit of indistinguishable hops. Pretty boring.

Taste: some off-metal carbonation with earthen characteristics and that's about it.

Aftertaste: really not brilliant - that awkward metallic and earthen fug. I can't even pick up Coopers' normal yeasts in this.

Mouth feel: very light in feel with a lower carbonation. I think it is the lack of carbonation that jurts this lager.

Overall: pretty ordinary tasteless bollocks. Far too low in carbonation to bring the flavours through well. AU$45 a case is too high.
