Had on tap at Capone's. This is my first experience with this IPA (and brewery) and, judging by its other reviews, is under appreciated. It is a solid, session type IPA with a fresh, crisp taste that I enjoyed and would have again without hesitation. It may be lacking in complexity but is tasty nonetheless.

Pours very hazy yellow gold color with a tremendous 3 finger foamy off white head that faded extremely slowly, had tons of huge bubbles in the head, as well as lots of bubbles racing up the brew like a 7-Up, and it left good foamy lacing clinging to the sides, leaving rings as it went down.
Smells of malt and grains, followed by herbs, tea leaf and light floral hops; reeks of an English IPA with a hint of citrus in the nose. Weak aroma for an American IPA.
Tastes like an American IPA with grapefruit, lemon, orange, citrus hops, pear, caramel, malt, roasted grains, piney hops, tea leaf, herbs, floral hops, and biscuit, which had bready notes and some sweetness. Well balanced, smooth and easy to drink with just a hint of bitterness.
Mouthfeel is creamy, almost buttery slick and smooth, with average carbonation, a medium body that’s almost chewy and slightly bitter finish that’s a nice mix of grains and some sweet citrus. Hats off to my brother for bringing this beer back from Pennsylvania, this was a nice above average IPA that was very easy to enjoy.

From a variety pack bought at Wegman's in Collegeville PA.
After reading the reviews on here I wasn't sure what to expect.
I'm an IPA guy, so I had high expectations, and I can honestly say that this impressed this hop lover.
Poured into a beer mug, good off white head with nice lacing.
The pine, citrus and almost honeydew like scent permeated the nostrils as soon as I poured.
The flavor not overly dominated by the hops but dry enough to make me wanting more.
Little bit of bitterness on the tongue but that complements so well.
It's not overly unique in the world of IPA's, but with as many 'near misses' and unimpressive ones that I have run into, I'm happy with this one.
Nice ABV as well for a traditional American IPA.
I'd recommend giving it a try and don't assume that the lower rating by the brothers is the be-all-end-all.
