Notes:
A step above mass produced lager beers, Legend Lager offers the comfort of easy drinkability while also bringing a depth of flavor due to our use of 100% barley malt, yeilding a pure, bright malt flavor and a medium body. Modest hopping and cool fermentation temperatures make for a smooth character and a clean finish.

12oz bottle poured into a stemmed pilsner glass. Pours a deep transparent gold. Lots of bubbles rising through this, feeding the 2-finger width head. Aromas of wet grains, sugar cookies, lemon rind.
Crisp, clean mouth. Easy drinking, though this actually feels a bit heavier than expected. Sweet beer right off, bready flavors, some husk, and a touch of citrus noted. There's an odd flavor I can't place. Whatever it is, it make me think twice about having many of these on hand. There's so many better clean lighter beers I could get. Probably won't revisit this one.

12oz bottle poured into a pint glass. Enjoyed at home.
A: Hazy golden color with a medium-size white head, which dissipated rather quickly.
S: Sweet-smelling with hints of citrus (lemon) and sweeter malts and a hint of toasty-ness. Perhaps some caramel and/or brown sugar as well. Aroma is pleasant, but not overwhelming.
T: Sweet and bready on impact, with some of the citrus flavors emerging in the end for a pleasant taste experience. Subtle aftertaste that resembles the front end -- a sweet maltiness.
M: Light body and sufficient carbonation. Unremarkable.
O: Solid, if somewhat mediocre, lager. Easily drinkable with limited after-taste, and the light body would allow for easy enjoyment with a variety of foods. Definitely not an irresistible beer, but certainly not bad.

Poured from bomber into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a medium golden color with a gigantic white head. The head was huge but faded fast, so the pour had to take place in multiple step additions. After fading completly the head left only a very light spotty lacing.
Smell – The smell is light and is of a bready an lighter sweet fruit/veg aromas of a apple and corn.
Taste – The taste begins of bread and caramel malt sweetness. Soon flavors of a lighter citrus nature come to the tongue. Mixed with the citrus are some flavors of an earthy taste. These flavors diminish the caramel flavor as the taste advances but a sweet corn and malty flavor takes it place. .In the end, a pleasant sweeter (for a lager) and very lightly bittered taste is left on the tongue.
Mouthfeel –The body of the beer is on the lower and thinner side with a very high level of carbonation. The carbonation and body are both very good for the brew and make it quite refreshing and easy drinking.
Overall – Not too bad. A bit on the sweeter side for a lager, but refreshing and very easy drinking none the less. It has nice flavor transitions and a nice feel, which when coupled with the lighter and more refreshing body make for a good session beer.

Poured into a pint glass.
4.0 A: Crystal clear medium yellow color. Despite this not being bottle conditioned, there's a fuck ton of carbonation in this and I needed a few pours to get a full glass. Why would they carb it this much. Big foamy white head. Retention is pretty good and lots of lacing is left.
3.5 S: Fairly potent grassy and spicy hoppiness. Grainy malts with a moderate sweetness. A touch of wort-iness to this as well. Could be a tad cleaner, but overall smells good.
4.0 T: The taste has a good amount of hops in it as well. Grassy, spicy, and earthy in that order. Low bitterness. Grainy malts with a light sweetness and a lot cleaner than the nose suggested. Very nice.
3.5 M: Lighter medium to medium body. A bit overcarbonated, but not too much. Lightly creamy and smooth enough.
4.0 D: Solid beer. 'Nuff said.
