Notes:
Our most popular beer, Legend's is a full bodied version of a British Brown Ale. Expect a rich, malt-forward brew with a beautiful mahogany tone. Generous amounts of specialty malts bring flavors of sweet caramel, toasted nuts, coffee, and molasses, all perfectly balanced by a steady but cautious hop dryness. Fruity undertones provided by our house yeast strain bring the final flavor element to round out this world class ale.

Pours a really nice opaque dark brown with a good amount of a thick head.
Smells of malt and toffee.
Tastes of sweet malt up front, followed by toffee, and ends with a roasted malt finish.
Mouthfeel is nice and crisp, not too much carbonation, but the body isn't too heavy as would be expected from this style. Has a fairly dry finish compared to other brown ales I have had.
Drinkability is very high.
Overall, I really like this beer. Some brown ales get too sweet, but this has a nice balance between the sweet and roasted malts.

Served in a snifter directly from a 12 oz. bottle.
A - Off white one finger head, decent lacing, and a beautiful reddish-mohogany hue.
S - Aroma of a predominately toffee note, light on the hop but a good sweet malt.
T - Probably one of my most visited beers. I almost always keep this on hand. Definitely my favorite beer of their line and well deserved. Sweet malt with toffee and caramel notes, finishes clean not bitter, very slightly earthy.
M - Very balanced, again finishes very clean.
Overall: One of my favorites. As a devout fan of Brown Ales this almost always is my first choice. Everyone has one brew that they cannot simply pass up. This one happens to be mine.
Happy brewing.

Poured from a brown 12 oz. bottle. Has a dark brown color with a 1 inch head. Smell is of malts, a bit nutty. Taste is well balanced hops and malts, a bit of nuts, just a touch of caramel. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is an enjoyable beer.
