I always enjoy a trip here. Nice atmosphere, good services, and considering the beer is brewed on premise, it's not bad either.
My personal favorite it the Piranha Burger with the Piranha Pale Ale. It's an open face burger smothered in chili, hard to beat, and will satisfy all but the largest of appetites. And the Pale Ale serves as a nice palate cleanser between bites.
My wife enjoys the mixed drinks, and the value is not bad. No worse than any other chain, anyways.
All in all, a nice break from the norm, and not bad at all for a national chain.

the atmosphere wasn't bad but i just didn't really like how it was so open...i don't know i can't quite put my finger on it....everything was of good quality though. Service was ok but i did have to wait a while...which i suppose shouldn't be a big deal... i mean you go to a restaurant to relax anyway right? The pizza i got was excellent. it was a ham and pineapple deep dish pizza. and ahhh the beer...the bock was fantastic. nothing was to pricey and i really enjoyed the experience. i would for sure say it's worth giving a try if you happen to see one.

BJ's is a nice, relaxing place. The crowd is never 'too much' and the atmosphere is quite relaxed. We have had spotty service there from time to time, as you might expect at any large restaurant. The beers are good. My favorite would certainly be the Tatonka Stout rounded second only by the Grand Cru Belgian Ale. Saint Arnolds brews all the beers so the quality is nice and consistant. The food is good, deep dish, chicago style pizzas are very filling and wonderful to split. Wish they would have some more 'beer' events, but still a nice place to visit in the clear lake area.

I love coming to this place! its a nice atmosphere. very cool people working there. Their beer selection could be a little better but on the other hand, they brew their own beers! well Saint Arnold Brewery actually contract brews their beers but nonetheless they have their own recipes. Their bock style has got to be my favorite. each location has a different rotating brew and i believe different seasonals. not exactly sure but pretty sure. The food is great. its kind of like a Chili's selection of food. just kind of your basics. they have burgers, salads, pizzas, soups, tacos, seafood, and whatever else. nice dim lit atmosphere with very high ceilings. definately a nice dinner/date restaurant!

Visiting my daughter in Clear Lake. She thought I would like this place. I did. As noted, the beers are all contracted out to St Arnold. Our server said that BJ's brewer oversaw that operation. This place is huge and open, lots of dark wood and a slew of TVs. The beers on tap were Brewhouse Blonde, Harvest Hefeweizen, Piranha Pale Ale, Jeremiah Red, Nutty Brewnette, PM Porter, Tatonka tout, Pook's Pilsner, and The Bock. When I opened the menu, I found they also had a bunch of Belgians in bottles: Chimay Red and Blue, Delerium Tremens, Duvel, Hoegaarden, Kwak, Orval, Lindeman's fruit lambics, Maredsous 10, Rochefort 8, Saison Dupont, Scaldis, Tilburg's Dutch Brown Ale, and Westmalle. Nice selection. I figured this first time, I'll stick with BJ's, and future visits will investigate the Belgians. The Bock, Jeremiah Red, and Tatonka Stout were all quite good. I think I enjoyed the bock the most.
The menu is quite large and inclusive. Appetizers, pizza (apparently the house specialty), salads, sandwiches, burgers, stuffed potatoes, pasta, and other entrees. There was also some pairings of beers with selected entrees, which I always like to see. The food was good, decent portions.
Our server was efficient without being intrusive. She had a nice sense of humor, which was evident when my grandson left half his meal in his highchair and on the floor.
I would certainly recommend BJ's to anyone in the area.

Atmosphere- Typical atmosphere for an upscale brewpub chain, but I'm not complaining. A very nice place to hang out at with the brewery being highly visible.
Quality- All of the beers my father and I had were very good, of which a few I found exceptional in all aspects other than the aroma. They also have a great selection of Belgians for fans of those types of beers.
Service- Our service was pretty good overall, a little slow, and our waitress didn't seem too knowledgeable about the beers.
Selection- Six or seven regular beers, plus a seasonal and cask selection were plenty enough for me.
Food- The jambalaya I had was truly excellent. My father enjoyed his salad too.
I really enjoy this place, but I wish it weren't so far from the center of Houston; I have to make a special trip to come out here. If I lived closer I'd be here often.
