Good ale. Greeat amber color with a decent head (not as much as I would have liked, about an eighth inch with some lacing). Smells great; can smell the hops. The hops and the malt hit your taste buds on the first sip and that, combined with the thick mouthfeel make it a good beer. Definitely a high quality beer I would drink again. Have only had it out of the tap, though, and I love draft beers

Pours well with an small medium bubble head which dissipated within two minutes, leaving a very thin covering that also disappeared in another minute. No lacing to speak of and what there is has no cling. The color is a medium reddish amber hue, SRM 18 on the beer color chart. Sweet malt smell with a slight burnt undercover. Taste is not lacking, little hop over sweet malt. Taste gets better as the beer gets warmer. Although there is no head action to speak of, the mouth feel is very pleasing, nice tingle to the palate, tongue and glatus. Got this six at the local Wal-Mart, could have got it a little cheaper where I usually buy my brew. All in all, not the best beer for the price and I probably would not share this with true beer drinkers.
