WOW!! What a store. This place is a beer lover's dream. 18 tap handles on their self proclaimed "No Excuses" growler station. The growler prices are exceptional. There's always a fill for $6.99, usually the regular 3 Floyds offerings or common Sierra Nevada's.
Seeing that Ohio has the 12% abv cap, this makes things a bit more reasonable, just 10 miles from downtown Cincinnati. 3 Floyds bombers, plus some of the regular 12oz offerings are always available, the complete Schlafly line, Bourbon County stout are also there.
If you had time to make only 1 stop while in the Cincy area, Party Town hands down should be that place.

A - 3.5 This store isn't usually all that busy and sometimes you don't see many people in your time there at all. The staff isn't overly friendly; not sure I've been greeted once at the door.
Q - 4 It isn't the cleanest of stores but it isn't bad... The products are certainly of good quality, however, and that's really what I care about.
Ser - 4 When I've needed help I've gotten help. Usually I'm asked by someone if they see me. They haven't been experts but they make sure that I get what I need.
Sel - 5 The store's highlight is its selection. There are a tremendous amount of bottled brews to choose from in both packages and singles. There is a good selection of bombers as well. The growler station has 18 taps and is especially nice; almost all that I've seen on tap are high-end micro brews. They look to have plenty of party supplies, liquor, wine, and even a homebrew aisle as well.
F - N/A
V - $$ Party Town's prices are competitive with other local stores. I haven't seen any prices too high or too low. For some of the offerings that they stock that others don't, however, they'd be considered to have a good value for sure. This was the last place in town that I found KBS this year, if that says anything.

They have the best selection and best prices I have seen for Growler's. The bottle selection is very good as well. They have 18 Taps of the best craft beers to offer in the area. The staff is very knoledgeable and very eager to give you samples of any beer on tap. I travel for my job, and I make this a prioriy when traveling the area to fill up a few growlers. Jeff is very helpful and the manager even pulled a few kegs from the back so I could try a few new beers! Can't say enough about this place and the quality and price's they offer.
I didn't check out the food section to rate that.

Fuck yeah this place is awesome. Huge selection of beer with some interesting stuff stashed away in the back. Since they're a bit off the beaten path they usually hold on to stuff longer than more. The big draw here is the stellar growler fill station. AMAZING taps with tons of great stuff. And their friday night beer tastings are amazing! Definitely worth going to! The folks here are really knowledgable and helpful as well. This is a must stop! Also, sometimes if you're nice you can try lots of the taps for free before you buy a growler. Definitely perk

Right on Turfway Rd. in Florence Kentucky one of my favorite go to places! Every Friday they have craft beer tastings from 6pm to 7pm and usually have a good 8 to 16 different beers to taste for only $2. There selection is great in wine, liquor, beer, and craft beer. If you're wanting a growler they usually average $7 to around $25 during the fall season.
Quality: Really great quality in there store, they keep the bottles in the right places, the price tags are pretty well placed to find how much you'll be paying on a case and even on a single.
Service: The guys that work there really want to get to know the regulars and really help you out. I just wondered in one day to their craft beer tastings and was a little late but the guy hooked me up for free just cause it was the end of the bottle and they knew I was interested in good craft with what was in my cart.
Selection: The selection is really great, about 6 full isles of beer about 4 shelves high and a full beer cave and over I think 120 or so barrels to choose from if you've got a kegerator.
Value: Pretty damn good, I can find some rares and many crafts form different states running at or below what people are saying they generally get them for in their area's. Great place to check out and waste way to much time looking around at beer.

All about the staff here. Nice to talk to people who love beer as much as I do. Very informed and quick to help you with any questions. Growler selection is excellent and yes they actually know what they have on tap and what would best suit your taste. Picked up some Three Floyd's Blackheart the other week. Outstanding! Bottle selection is good too, and prices beat any place in the area. Get to know the employees here. They'll give you honest opinions on what to try. Find or learn something new everytime I'm in here. If your in the area definitely worth a stop. Way better than Party Source.

I absolutely love this place. They've expanded their growler station to 14 taps and there's always goodies to be had. The beer purchaser, Jeff, has the hook up with the Bluegrass Brewing Company and gets lots of their fantastic bourbon, brandy, and barrel aged beers on tap. He also brews with them and exclusively sells Rye 75, a rye IPA. They occassionally have special dry hopped or oak aged version on this as well. They host some nasty brewery specific tastings with lots of rarities. The quality and selection are unrivaled in the area. They have multiple employees that are very knowledgeable about beer and if you run into one of them that isn't, they gladly radio to someone that knows their stuff to help you. The prices here can't be beat. The bottles at averagely priced at best and usually a bit cheaper but the growler station has unbelievably low prices.

Was in the area for a couple Red's games and made the short drive over. The bottle selection was good, but nothing overly impressive IMO.
The growler station however, was awesome. I couldnt believe they had Dreadnaught and for only $17! Ive never seen on tap anywhere besides the brewpub where its $5 for a half pint. I believe they had 14 taps total. Some of the others I remember were Bell's 2H, Stone Ruination and Cali Belgique, Founder's Backward Bastard and FFF Robert the Bruce.
They also had probably 6-8 cases of KBS left at $24/4pack.
On a sour note, they also had ~20 cases of Hopslam left as well at full price :(

Yes...Party Town. This place is quite an expedition.
The first time I stopped here, I was amazed to find that they had growlers for sale. And, over the past year, it's only gotten better. They are constantly rotating their taps, and have added their "Friday Night Flights" event every Friday, which feature a line of different beers...whether a series from a specific brewery, or along a theme (most recently, a tasting of canned beer available to them).
The guys who run the beer section love what they do. They are always willing to talk about current stuff on tap, and new things they have in bottles. They love talking about rare beer finds, and new things on the horizon.
So, the tap selection is awesome...now to the bottles. Maybe it's exciting for me because we can't get a lot of what they have up here in Ohio, but they carry some great beers...and have quite an extensive catalog of beers...both chilled and on the shelves. Rare finds, and regular stuff, too. I've picked up several things such as Goose Island Bourbon Barrel Stout and Dogfish Head 120 Minute there, as well as some good deals on other easy-to-find beers.
They send out an email each week with new beers on tap, and what is in store for the Friday Night Flights. It's a great place. The place is huge, and I must admit...I've never made it beyon the beer...why would I need to.
If you are in Florence, you need to check this place out. Excellent.

This is a good beer store. They had everything I would expect, except for a couple of old Belgians I found at Party Source. There are a couple of guys there who know beer inside and out. Their Friday Night Flights beer tasting is pretty outstanding. They main difference between this place and the Party Source is the quality of service and the knowledge of the employees. I have a much easier time getting proper answers to my questions here. I am a big fan of the growlers at this store. Its seems they only tap things they want to drink.
