On tap and served in a tulip. The beer poured a very dark chocolate, almost opaque color,
with a 1/2 finger head. Nice lacing.

An immediate aroma of fruit, a bit of chocolate- but not strong. The aroma dissipated
with warming.

The mouth feel was very pleasant, with a hint of carbonation.

The taste is the prize with this quad. Chocolate, fruit, raisins, figs. With warming,
the taste profile expands- richer chocolate, fruit- a quadruple delight.

I wasn't familiar with this beer. It is outstanding, and now it is one of my favorite
Belgian Quads.

A: Poured a from bottle into a tulip glass - amber, with a off white head of about 3 fingers of soapy fine bubbles and steady effervescence.

S: Strong yeast, dried Fruit (fig/plum) some non specific fruity esters

T: Malty, dried fruit forward almost like a sweet port/sherry with a bit of tart acidity from the carbonation leaving a fairly clean palate. Much fruitier/sweeter than other quads.

M: Great combination of syrup and the fullness of the carbonation, a really spectacular combination. Made more so as it warms in the mouth.

O: Gulden Draak is incredible, but Gulden Draak 9000 is even more so. Great for a barbeque, or casual dinner event, try with steak or very flavorful game.

A - Hazy amber-orange with a finger of frothy slightly off-white head. Fades normal.

S - Sweet caramel malts, candi sugar, dark fruits, Belgian yeast, coriander, clove, pepper, banana esters, tart green fruits, bit of booze.

T - Sweet caramel and lightly bready malts, raisins, figs, and other dark fruits, candi sugar, Belgian yeast, coriander clove, pepper, banana esters, touch of tart green fruits, some booze.

M - Full bodied, moderate carbonation. Smooth with a sweet, estery, spicy, warming finish.

D - Great Quad. Good balance, complexity, and mouthfeel.
