A: Massive white mountain head. Stuck around forever and grew in the glass after the pour. Golden color and slightly cloudy.
S: Spiciness, dark dried fruits (plum/raisin) but still crisp, alcohol came in stronger as it warmed, Belgian yeast funk.
T: Sweet and spicy. Huge amounts of dried fruit, you name it cherry/fig/plum. Alcohol and hop spice round it out. To much going on to really explain in words. Slightly dry and sweet on the finish
M: Full. Med to high carbonation, syrup like. Bitterness kicks at the end and the alcohol bite lingers as it warmed. Spicy on the gums.
O: This beer falls somewhere between a Belgian Dark Strong and a Belgian Golden Strong. The appearance would tell me it is a golden, but the flavor and scent says something else. I don't think this beer was designed to fall into our contemporary "categories." Anyway you slice it, this is a very complex beer that should be experienced by all.

Poured from a bottle into a tulip.
A - Pours a clear reddish-copper with a two-finger head of white sea foam. Rings of sticky lacing.
S - Healthy aroma of tropical fruit esters, Belgian yeast funk, spice, and booze. Booziness comes out more in the nose as it warms.
T - Complex blend of fruity phenols (melon, banana, bubblegum), honey, and musty/earthy funk. Spicy herbal hops keep things interesting in the finish. ABV noticeable but not in a bad way. Aweetness fades in by the mid-palate as barnyard takes hold. Malts are sweet, subdued, and take a huge backseat to the other flavors.
M - Light side of medium bodied, with spritzy carbonation. Oddly creamy.
O - A tasty, rich, complex BSPA, although I must admit, I found it just a little too "barnyard" for my tastes. Would have to be in a special mood for this to be a rebuy.

330ml served in a snifter glass.
A: Pours a dark orange color forming a huge white bubbled head. Clear. Good retention and tons of lacings formed and left
S: Very sweet in the nose. Very fruity and bready too. Notes of raisins, vanilla and honey. Yeasts are very bready and Belgian. A bit metallic. Alcohol can be felt in the end
T: Sweet upfront, sweet malts, mainly. Quite fruity, with notes of grapes and raisins. Earthy yeasts. Light hops bitterness in the end
M: Heavy, creamy and molasses. Medium carbonation. Bittersweet aftertaste
O: Strong but quite good beer. Very Belgian. Recommended
