25 cl bottle. Bottle labeled 05/01/07.
Poured a medium ruby-reddish color with a large sized pinkish head. Aromas of cherry cough syrup / cherry cough drops. Tastes of sweet cherries. Very light tart cherry finish. Overall sweet and artificial.

Little 25cL bottle with a blue label. The color is on the pinkish side of red. A very sugary cherry (versus tart or subdued) aroma. My wife said it smells and tastes like Faygo, which is a local pop (soda) maker. Quite true.
Maraschino cherries. That's it. That's virtually the only flavor to this beer. Sugary, lifeless, barely organic material that smacks of that fake sort of aftertaste one gets from everyone's favorite red cocktail "fruit." A bit thin, though the carbonation is sufficient.

Comes in a long neck brown 25cl bottle with a light blue and gold label featuring three cherries above the name. Sugar, cherries and cherry juice are ingredients. Best before 8/28/04, I opened it on 5/31/04.
Pours a cloudy reddish copper hue under a very thin, fizzy and short-lived reddish head that leaves quite a few spots of lace. The nose is sweet cherry, but too sweet, reminiscent of cherry soda. The mouth is very prickly and quite light. There's lots of cherry in the taste, but they are candy cherries, leaving a soda pop feel to this brew. Insufficient malt and yeast get lost in the candy, leaving an impression much like a cherry life saver. Maybe this isn't fair, but I've got a handful of fresh cherries right now, and yhis beer isn't nearly as good.
