Went in on 12-7-08 on my way to the Ingleside mall in Holyoke. I was very impressed by the selection. Tons of belgians, domestics, regionals and macros of course, with a special attention to the local guys. They even had a 3 liter bottle of Ommegang (which I was tempted to purchase for nothing other than the novelty of it!). They also have a small selection of island and offbeat country beers, including Carib that some of my friends drink when they are in St. Martin. They had several rare beers as well, far to many to list!

Prices were comparable to other stores we've visited in Mass. Ryan and Casey also stock full lines of wine and liquor. They had a plethora of gift baskets with items such as glasses, cheese and smoked meats, all centered around the brewery contained within. Staff offered up help on several occasions to both my wife and I. The fellow who cashed us out seemed friendly, so no complaints there. If you are traveling 91 in either direction Ryan and Casey are definitely worth a stop.

Ryan & Casey is located probably half a mile from the People's Pint, and about 10 minutes north of the Berkshire Brewing Company. Beer, liquor, and wine is racked on the walls, stacked on the floor, and piled into coolers everywhere. The selection is top notch, especially considering the fact the store serves a relatively small community. Belgians, micros, macros, locals, they've got it all. And, if they don't have what you're looking for, they'll get it.

Also of note, they've been hosting brew festivals for the last several years. Each time it gets a little bigger, a little better, with plenty of vendors, food, live music, cigars, etc.

Stopped in while having a few minutes to waste, checked it all out. For what looks like a teensy package store from the street is actually pretty impressive. Skinny building, but goes very deep. Beer is in the back left quadrant. Plenty of attentive help at the ready to answer questions, but not pushing at you. Superb cross-section of brews. Locals are in growlers, bombers, 6-packs, probably almost a third of the beer they sell is refrigerated. Depth across the board, plenty of Belgians, US micros from far and wide as well. Examples are plenty of Berkshire, People's Pint, Paper City, Opa Opa, but also saw Sunday River and New England cans, Geary's Anniv and Yulesmith bombers, the list goes on and on.

They don't have everything, but for Greenfield, they done good. Check it out if in the area.

On my return trip home from Groveland, MA for the Thanksgiving holiday I asked my sister to make a pit stop in Greenfield, thankfully she did. This place looks tiny from the street, but you walk in and it goes on forever. I had to walk through the walls of liquor and wine to get to the good stuff. Pretty much any New England brew you can dream of is here. What I liked was the Berkshire Brewing Co. and People's Pint bombers. Surprised to see Port/Lost Abbey and Founders. Very nice selection of imported beers. My main goal was to pick up some Imperial Stout Trooper, and I did just that. Three of them for $7 each was a bit steep, but worth it. I also picked up some St. Ambroise Oatmeal Stout, damn glad I did too. The guy at the counter was quite happy to be working there, but who wouldn't? After my first drop off at the counter he warned me that some bottles may be empty once I came back, I knew he was just foolin' but for some reason I had to second guess myself. I only spent about $75, but easily could have dropped three times as much. Definitely glad I stopped. Friendly people and great selection. I will be coming back here for sure.

I checked this place out earlier this year after a hike in Southern VT. After getting used to NH and VT beer stores, this place knocked my socks off.

Massive selection, mix a 6, and some rarities. I could start listing off all of the breweries they carry, but it would be redundant. They're fairly well cataloged here. They have a lot. Belgians from Urthel through Chimay, east coast stuff, west coast stuff. A couple hundred individual breweries and many hundred individual brews. The rarities were what got me. Hand-labeled barrel-aged bottles of flying dog's gonzo, short run unibroues, the list goes on and on.

The staff wasn't unhelpful, i just didn't need any. They were very friendly and made me a couple of deals since I was dropping a pretty penny. I don't remember the prices being too crazy. 80 bucks got me an amount of good beer that I was mighty happy with.

Whenever traveling through the I-91 corridor this is a must stop. Awesome store only a short ride off I-91 exit 26 just short of downtown Greenfield. Look for the awesome retro neon sign, its a can't miss.

Being from CT the selection in Mass can't be beat and the same is true at Ryan & Casey. Founders, Troegs, Pretty Things, Port, The Bruery, Green Flash and Berkshire Brewing (full line) are some of the breweries that are well represented along with a great deal of local Mass beers. There is a whole wall of coolers filled with brews with the first 4 or 5 coolers filled only with bombers. On the other wall are shelves filled with more warm domestic craft bombers and Import 750's. Stacked on the floor in between the cooler wall and shelved wall is what I call their "Stockroom". This area is where they keep the craft cases before they restock the coolers and shelves. Often times it only contains duplicates of whats on the shelf but that is not always true. Some real gems can be found here especially if they have had a recent delivery. Another location to find beer is behind the counter this is where they keep beers that are in short supply and in high demand. Prices seem to be average.

The staff is great and always willing to help if you ask and sometimes even approach you if you are looking overwhelmed, which happens often, but are never bothersome. They also utilize Facebook rather well updating often when anticipated beers hit their shelves.

Overall this is my favorite Western Mass store.

I had heard about this place from a friend. I happened to be spending time in Keene, NH so decided to jut off to Greenfield to check out this place. When I first stepped in, I was automatically blown away. The selection is very hard to describe. There are so many beers that one cannot find in Vermont on the shelves. I was blown away by how many coolers they dedicated solely to craft beers.

The service was exceptional and I found that for $35, I got 2 six packs of beer, 5 individual 12oz bottles of various beers and 1 bomber. I was shocked at how reasonable the prices were when compared to liquor stores in Vermont.

I will definitely be coming back here in the future.

I used to live just across the street from here 5 years ago.
The selection then was better than most places are today.
This place sets the bar pretty high.
The only down side is that they are always playing country music in there.
IMHO this is a Beer Mecca.
