Picked up as part of a mix-a-six pack.
A: High carbonation, 1 inch-thick head, golden-straw body.
S: Smells of mild hops, almost like Miller Lite... mer.
T: Tastes refreshing, no tastes to note on other than a mild grassy flavor. No citrus or pine to speak of.
M: Very drinkable and easy on the palate.
O: Definitely not a home run seeing how it's labeled "Perfect Pils." Nothing's perfect. That being said, I don't recommend this. I'd much rather have other offerings.

Bought as part of a case of Labatt Brewers Collection Summer beers from Southtown Beverages on 4/26/13. Case price $ 10.99.
poured from a 11.5 oz bottle into a mug, served at fridge temp.
appearance: lemon yellow with a one finger white head. Some lacing.
aroma: underpowered and a little sweet.
mouthfeel: decent for the style.
taste: malty and not much else. Hops are barely noticeable.
notes: Perfect Pils? There's not much to this beer. Forgettable.

Pours mostly clear with fluffy white head that clings to the glass quite decently. Smells of light pilsner malt with a soft bouquet of hops, likely noble. A light honey aroma evident.
Tastes a little rough with a lingering sweetness after some modest husk graininess. Not sure if this bottle was old or not. Mouthfeel is nice & light but the pure drinkability is affected by the taste. Some decent bitterness on the tip of the tongue.
Overall, this beer isn't quite for me. This one has been sitting in my fridge for quite some time now, but I do admire Labatt's for trying to experiment a little.

Poured into a round pint glass, color is transparent gold to straw with a nice dense bright white head that clings nicely - good looking brew.
Smell is neutral poured cold, but it starts to impart some light pilsner and hop notes.
Taste is more neutral flavors, but definitely some good grains and hops blending here, a bit light in profile.
Mouthfeel is solidly carbonated, but a little neutral in flavor presence and balance.
Overall, good looking and decent tasting pilsner style brew maybe a bit to harsh in carbonation and not enough oomph in flavor.

Yet another Labatt experimental. You would think I would wise up and not get it but for a dollar I will try anything.
A - Looks pretty good actually a 1/2 inch of sticky white foam that makes for good lacing atop a bright clear yellow beer. Looks great.
S - Wow I can actually smell some hops, that is quite good for BMC. Other than that some dry corn husk and some sweet malts are some other things I pick up.
T - Taste is pretty BMC friendly there are some bitter hops but not enough to really surprise me. Mostly a mild skunked corn taste and a dry semi-hop finish are the best descriptors for this beer.
M - Light to medium, slightly bubbly easy to drink.
Overall being not a huge fan of Pilsener this beer surprised me. Nothing like better "dry hopped" pilsners but still very good.
