A: It poured a faint straw yell with a moderate half finger white head that fell fast and then dissipated completely. There were a few small and scattered clumps of leggy lacing.

S: It had faint aromas of grains and hops but it was hard to ellicit any distinct smells.

T: It had a diluted flavor profile common to light lagers. There were hints of toasted sweet malts but nothing that really coated the tongue and there was a musty tangy bite on the back of the tongue that could have been hops.

M: It was very light bodied, almost like water. It had a massive amount of carbonation. It finished west with a bit of musty aftertaste.

D: IT is a light, low ABV brew that could support a long session with few affects but why do it. It lacks flavor, a defining character, or other attributes that make it a beer to seek and enjoy.

Poured a medium straw hue with a one finger foamy white head. There was decent retention and lacing.

The smell featured a sweet adjunct and slight grassy hop.

The taste featured a raw grainy malt with a lingering corn sweetness.

The mouthfeel was light for the style with vigorous carbonation.

Overall a lower level light lager. Not recommended.

Labatt's effort at jumping in to the low carb trend. Pale yellow in color, very little head or foam, almost fizzy . Really is just watered down Labatt's Lite. Have seen it on tap a number of places so their marketing must be working, the beer sure doesn't. NO thanks, I'll pass on this one

Had this when I was counting carbs, I think I'll just eat less and drink more. It was and unimpressive clear yellow with fizzy head that was gone in the blink of an eye. Smell was a bit of hops, faint, very faint. Taste was a bit of sweet malt and finish that was water... yep, just water. It was rather over-carbonated as well. While I will never pour a beer out no matter how bad it is (I am bit of a masochist in that regard), and although I could conceivably drink this all day, it is rather like the beer equivilent of eating celery... kind of a waste of time.

Looks like you-know-what. No head. Some malt, higher than their average taste. Carbonation not hops. Was watery, but not the most watery I' have had. Then again, it was a hot day and a long walk and I was thirsty. Is this a low carb? OK, possible sweeter than Sleeman clear, I guess from corn sweetener.

Golden yellow with a big white head. Actually gave up some good lace.

That's it though. Doesn't smell like anything. Doesn't taste like anything. Fizzy. Real fizzy.

So. Not actively dislikable, but no particular point to this beer.

Light strikes again. Believe I'll stick with the dark side.

If in a blind taste test, I could not tell the difference between this Labatt Sterling and a Bud Light.
Shortly after arrival this product looked like a thin pale apple juice.
Light golden colour, no froth of any description and extremly light carbonation.
Nose was clean.
Body was very thin.
The taste was fairly well balanced with a slight finish to the malts.
Brewed to the yuppie diet beer,complete with foil neck ring.

One of my billiard tournaments was having a promo of this. Since I was competing, I got to drink this for free. Somehow, I still feel ripped off. This is one of these Atkin diet beers, low in carbs, calories and high in water. 2.5 carbs per bottle. Ooh, should I be impressed? Poured a fizzy, light yellow colour. Think watered down lemonade that kids sell during the summer months. No head whatsoever. I even brought a bottle home to see if pouring it properly made a difference. Nope, it didn't. Flat pepsi has better head than this. Very faint corn smell. And I do mean faint. Taste? Umm, if you really force your tongue, some dry sweetness is detected. Thin, watery mouthfeel. Definitely drinkable, because it's basically water. A fad beer for a fad diet.
