Off the tap this unfiltered porter was a dark brown color. The tan collar retained pretty well and left decent lacing. The aroma was of roasted malt, coffee and bittersweet chocolate. The flavors started with bittersweet chocolate and then went more dry with roasted malt, toasted malt and coffee. The mouthfeel was a little watery, the body was medium/full and the carbonation was medium/high. A good example of the style especially in the flavors but it could have used more weight and depth.
