Nice English pub in Old Quebec (Old Port area). Patio in front of the place, typical tables inside. Decor is typical for a pub. Very clean place. Very friendly staff. They spoke English without problems, so the only ordering hiccup was my own mispronunciation of French names.

Tap selection is regular (Beck's, Harp, Guinness, Keith's, Newcastle, Griffon Blonde/Rousse, St. Ambroise Cream Ale), but bottle selection is very good. A lot of Quebec and Belgium beers. I was satisfying my new found thirst for Unibroue beers. They also have a nice selection of single malts.

Didn't eat a lot, but what I had was good.

I spent a few hours here talking with a friend, and we both left very satisfied with the place. Thomas Dunn is close to L'Nox (it made a nice combination for me).

A nice British "style" pub in the Vieux Port section of Quebec City. I say style because that's how it's decorated (save some Belgian beer signs on the walls) but the best beer selections here come from Belgium and Quebec itself.

Lots of bottles, 150 or so. Draft selection was smaller and really quite average (Bass, Guinness, Stella and the like). Bottles included Unibroue, Chimay, Orval, La Chouffe - the list goes on. I ordered a Raftman, my friend a Blanche de Brugge. Beers were in good shape, served in appropriate glassware. Our servers were lovely, friendly and prompt (at least by Quebec standards.). We ate at the sidewalk cafe portion as the day was nice. Food was decent, we had sandwiches. Nothing earthshattering but pretty good just the same. Prices were fair for the area.

A place to seek out in the Old Port.

This is a very dimly lit, small, but quaint and warm beer bar in Quebec City. The quality of the beer sampled was good, but the tap selection was limited to the normal quebec and montreal micros and macros. The bottle list however was excellent. I had a Maresdous 8 and a cognac beer here and both were excellent. The bartender was nice, but spoke almost no English and the service was pretty fast and accurate.

A nice place!
