A - Pours a golden head that is pretty fine. Thin layer sticks to the glass. Small carbonation bubbles continued well after the pour and mixed the taste well. Head disappeared rather quickly

S - There is a definite wheat smell within the beer with a hint of mint flavor. The overall smell is kind of mild but it is still distinct. Could be better but a very nice smell.

T - Very cool and nice beer. Goes down really smooth and tastes great. The wheat taste is strong and there is some lemon hints as well. Little or no aftertaste and it leaves you wanting a little more.

MF - Light and refreshing. Carbonation is not very strong but bubbles are very fine.

D - Easy to drink and worth the taste

To be totally fair, I am not a fan of overly bitter, hoppy brews.

A - Thick and murky

S - Corriandor

T - Bitter up front but not much aftertaste

M - I could tell I was drinking beer

0 - Average. I wouldn't kick it out of bed but I won't be looking for it intentionally.

witbier? nope, more like a sweet hefeweizen. Poured into a DFH signature glass.

Beer is yellow with a mild haze (after I pour in the dregs) so there must not be any flaked wheat in this witbier...thin head, no lacing, low carbonation, not impressed.

Aroma is sweet like bubblegum. Malty.

Beer is medium to light in body and sweet throughout, seriously sweet. The beer is overwhelmingly sweet. Syrup sweet, nope, not feeling it. next.

Poured into Boston Lager glass...

A: pours a hazy light brown with a frothy white head..

S: has a creamy wheat aroma with a soft hint of orange peel, banana, and spice. nothing overly exciting but nice.

T: similar to aroma. a spicy wheat bread crust and banana cream flavor with a orange peel and a touch of bittering earthy hops and rye chips in the finish. rather tasty.

M: creamy light medium body with a silky mouthfeel and a dry dusty finish

Overall, not an mind blowing beer but I will most likely pick this up in the future when a refreshing but satisfying american wheat is desired.

This one poured a light clear yellow color, with a bit of white foam that dissipates fairly quickly. On the nose I get some Belgian yeast, banana, some wheat and a little peppery spice. On the palate, this one is very light bodied and refreshing, with flavors of light lemon, some apricot and maybe pear/apple, along with some Belgian spicing, pepper and yeast. ™

Thanks to my folks for pickipg up this out of reach, Oklahoma beer, while they were in Arkansas.

Very cloudy amber and bronze hue. Very quick head and no residual foam. A little sediment floats around here and there.

The aroma makes me think of beer bread dough and just a little toasted biscuit crust. Smells dry and powdery.

Flat banana powder yeast and some bread dough, pre-baking. Then a little Wonderbread crust with maybe some Earthy hop notes. Powdery, gypsum like palate overall. OK session beer.

Pours dark for the style. But then as the yeast settles the beer gets sufficiently cloudy, and the aggressive white head sticks around, so I guess it's not too far off from the norms of a wit.

Smells lightly sour, but most like white pepper with a small hint of bananas. It's different in a not-unpleasant way, but the style unfortunately doesn't leave too much room for any invention that's not striking.

Tastes like it smells, only the yeast is too aggressive and that blots out the flavors. Solid banana, white pepper, and clove profile, cut into a by an intense, seltzery fizziness. The aftertaste is good--they did a damn fine job of making the Belgian yeast shine--but they really need to do more to control the fizz.

A - Pours a murky yellow with 1 finger of white head that forms a thick collar.

S - Peppery, musty wheat, twangy yeast, clove, honey, muted orange.

T - Heavy honey wheat flavor, soft orange and lemon citrus, some clove spice in the middle, finishes a little wet.

M - Light to medium bodied, soft velvety carbonation.

This a little rough around the edges. Drinks pretty easy though. Great mouthfeel.

Bottle courtesy of a generous trader. Served in a pilsner glass.

Pours yields a hazy light golden brew with a substantial head of thick white foam with really fantastic retention and a lot of lacing as it goes down. The nose is quite a bit too overrun with coriander. Behind that is a bit of citrus and light wheat. The taste drastically improves upon the nose. There's a good balance between all the components, though it still leans a bit toward the extra coriander spice. Light body with low carbonation and a bit of spiciness in the finish. Fairly drinkable.

Nice Golden beer with a good citrus taste.

It tastes like a belgian white although this is a beer that seems to be a little heavy on the carbonation..overall this was one of my favorite beers from the Choc line. not to overpowering but the last bottle I had was surprisingly overly carbonated...nice.

Fresh citric aroma. Glowing golden hazy brew with a white head.

Interesting interpretation of a Belgian white. Thicker mouthfeel than expected. Surprisingly rich and malty. Some wheat tang. Lots of citrus and spices. Some sweetness but not overbearing. Definitely a very strong sweet aftertaste.

Very balanced.
