I believe this was between 8-9 dollars for a 6-pack of 12oz twist-offs. Poured from a bottle into a New Belgium Globe.
Pours nearly black with a small tan head that fades quickly.
Smells is of dark roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, hint of pumpkin flesh plays in the background.
Taste is complex and wonderful. Typical porter notes to start off and then the pumpkin kicks in in the end. Fresh, the pumpkin was barely noticeable but after a couple months, this beer has really come into its own. It's still not overpowering but slightly more assertive and it complements the porter base wonderfully.
Medium body and carbonation with high drinkability with no noticeable alcohol burn.
Overall this a top-notch beer and a world-class pumpkin beer. Not overdone with fake-tasting pumpkin pie spices. This beer has some finesse and uniqueness all its own.

Update- Drank one 8.26.11 and it was doubly delicious. I didn't know what time would do to this beer but it was kind indeed. This beer deserves world-class acolades. Over the last year, everything smoothed out and the pumpkin became slightly more pronounced as the heat settled down and everything mellowed. Awesome beer.

Batch 5. Looks good, like a stout. A finger plus of mocha colored foam, minimal retention, and some scraps of lacing. Activity determinable by the tiny bubbles coming to the surface.
Pumpkin and spice are prominent, mild roast and malty sweetness add depth and character underneath.
Tastes like the nose with spice and pumpkin defining and even dominating, but not quite overbearing. Roasty and malty character are enough to remind you that it is beer and not pie.
Smooth, rich, moderately viscous, and only gently warming.
Really nice beer. The only one I've ever had that is reminiscent of Midnight Sun's TREAT (formerly known as Imperial Chocolate Pumpkin Porter), which is a great beer. It is listed as retired here on BA, I hope that is not true. This is a worthy brew and you should try it if you can.
