Transparent orange-straw colored lager with ample head and plenty of lacing.

Fruit, floral aroma from the hops and mild grain aroma from the malts. Not overpowering and well balanced.

Solid malt backbone with grainy, bread-like flavors and mild honey sweetness. Hop bitterness is well pronounced with lemon and orange rind. Descent balance with bitterness lingering into the aftertaste.

On the lighter end of medium bodied with a sharp, snappy carbonation. Smooth in the beginning and drying in the finish.

Good brew. Lots of complexities and pretty well balanced.

On tap into a pint glass @ MSP. Pours a clear golden color w/ a thin white head.

Aroma is gently floral and grainy.

Taste follows nose. Old-world hops, pilsner malt (or something similar), clean water. Highly drinkable.

Mouthfeel is clean and crisp, refreshing.

Overall an easy drinking summer beer. Nothing amazing, but good enough for a layover on my way home.

Poured from bottle to an imperial pint.

A: Hazy wheat to lemon yellow with a foamy stark white head. A decent amount of carbonation. A good looking maibock.

S: Malt, candy sugar, grassy hops.

T: Strong malt presence with a nice hops finish, but sickly sweet in the middle. Lemon peel, grassy hops, and some other notes that would be pleasant were it not for a cloying sweetness.

M: Rather chunky and thick. Decent hops finish but there is almost a residue left on your tongue so you don't really get to enjoy it.

O: Good-looking maibock that doesn't quite deliver in other categories. I greatly prefer Boss Tom's from Boulevard here in KC.
