You probably won't go here unless you're on a day trip from Melbourne. But the scenery is just amazing. Lush, green mountains, beautiful birds flying all around, crisp mountain air, and a friendly Golden Retriever hanging around the front door.

It seems to be the only pub nearby, so the locals and the odd tourist will be joining you for a beer. Inside, it's just your average country pub. But nicer than average, I'd say. With a fireplace and a lot of windows on the back half of the building that allow you to take in the scenery while you play a game of pool and drink a couple beers.

Good beer, too. The pale is really nice, with heaps of Cascade, and the dark beer (I forget the name) is really yummy. If you catch some fresh raspberry wheat on tap, give it a shot.

Anyways, don't drive from Melbourne just to check out the brewery, but make a whole day (or two) out of it and drive through the mountains. Bring your camera (and if you have a 4WD, there are some fun tracks through the park). Say Hi to the dog for me.
