Poured into a tulip. The color is slightly hazy orange with a large foamy head. There is nice sticky lacing.
The aroma has nice sweet honey malt. There is a touch of bubblegum here as well. The hops are understated in the aroma, perhaps lending a slight vegetal note.
The taste has a lot of sweet malt flavor with graham cracker and honey notes. There is a little bit of pepperyness towards the finish.
This is full bodied. There is a nice full carbonation. This isn't bad, but it isn't really great either.

A - fully hazy swampy yellow, expected tower of head dissipated to one finger leaving random wispy lacing
S - grainy, metallic, bubble gum, pears, light pepper, mild sour citrus
T - spicy start with minerally metallic notes, fruity and leafy, grains, some alcohol heat to finish
M - fairly light, big carbonation, dry and slightly puckering, somewhat spicy hot finish
O - definitely a good example of the style, the hoppiness is fairly mellow but works well with the Belgian flavours, alcohol is still a little spicy, i have a bottle put aside from the summer, be interested to see how it fares in a year or two

750ml bottle poured into tulip 12/9/12 2012 vintage
A hazy pale golden orange with a massive three fingers of well sustained foam that leaves some spider web lacing followed by a few large random patches
S fruity tropical notes with lots of Belgian yeast, brewers candy and spice, still quite hoppy with earthy, leafy and some citric hops, I'm liking the smell and would never believe its 10%
T sweet marmalade with and rind on top of what I smell, faint booze and just a small step back from the smell, spicy and earthy and still quite nice
M fairly thick and well carbonated, silky almost syrupy at first and once you move it around in your mouth it creams up. very faint heat like what you would expect in something a fair bit weaker, its barely noticeable
O this one has potential to hurt you, I forgot how strong it was until my head reminded me. a nice mellow Belgian that's pretty well rounded
not sure if I'd want to lay this one down as the hop profiles good and the booze is already quite mellow. pretty nice stuff and its priced well here in my little beer heaven of Alberta

Poured into a tulip. This one pours a slightly hazy golden straw color with about an inch of fluffy white head. Nice sticky lace on this one.
Hints of spice and caramel with bubblegum sweetness and a bit of a bitter hop finish. Notes of ripe fruit like apples and pears. Bitter hops on the pallet with some notes of spice and pears. Has a bit of a sweet edge to it.
The body is medium with coarse carbonation. Overall this one is pretty solid. Nice hop profile on this. A nice pretty easy drinking brew here.

The pour is a clear golden color with a white head. Notes of straw, yeast, bread, and biscuit malt. A light grassiness, some fruity esters of pear and apple, and a hint of honey. Tastes quite similar to the aroma. Sweet bread and biscuit malts with some yeast, straw, and floral aromas. A nice estery quality giving the beer some apple and pear, a touch of citrus is also present.

As I am at my parental units' abode, in a belated celebration of my nuptials a few months back, this seems like a nice 'little' gift to put back in the hoopla that is family, after things go quiet later in the evening. 2012 vintage, 750ml bottle, happily soused-looking Belgian dude on the label.
This beer pours a cloudy medium apricot hue, with two fingers of silken puffy, foamy off-white head, which leaves some broad hoar frost lace around the glass as it slowly recedes.
It smells of grainy, spicy wheat and barley, blended citrus punch, spiked to the nuts, and peppery, bitter leafy hops. The taste is sweet grainy pale malt, restrained candy sugar, some saccharine pear and apple notes, and nicely bitter earthy, leafy hops. A gently prodding warmth underlies all.
The bubbles are subtle, even, and a tad frothy, the body a so-so medium weight, and smooth, but with an airy booze impediment. It finishes fairly sweet, the big pale malt and sugar leading the rush, aided and abetted by the additional alcohol sweetness, a manageable shred of balance sanity provided by the still perky hops.
A decent strong pale ale, done all up Belgian style, wherein the booze gets to play hide and seek, aaand... NOT FOUND! Tasty enough, surprisingly hoppy, and, well, what I just said. A fitting celebratory tipple.

A clouded dark straw colored brew, an off-white head with good lacing but small curtains.
Smelling spicy yeast, oranges and fruit.
A sugary sweet start, spicy pears in brandy, crushed apple seeds.
Medium low carbonation, soft and sticky, a coarse finish.
A potent brew, deceptively strong.

On tap at the Local Option. Slight yeasty and floral smell. Some orange taste, herbal. Lacey. Dry and bitter finish. Alcohol warmth, even a tad boozy as most belgian break down at this level of abv. Not that flavourful or drinkable though.Disappointing.

B
750ml into a tulip. Pours a hazy orange, towering very dense meringue head slow to recede, superb lacing.
Yeasty sweet spicy goodness with a touch of cedar and camphor. Apple pear and tiny clove. Complex within a narrow range.
Taste too is fairly sweet, it's loud and brassy. Aftertaste begins as if it will be dry then stops short as the bitter and sweet continue. The slowly fading aftertaste has mid bitters and a solid phenolic backbone. Alcohol is a subtle flavor component. Hint of zinc in the aftertaste but not to its detriment. Full bodied smooth mouthfeel.
Needs warmth.
cheers
