2nd review having tried it again.
Poured from a 330ml bottle into a pint glass.
Pours a pale yellow colour with some lacing and a small head.
Smells quite average, slight hops and a hint of malts.
Tastes quite nice, like a normal lager with slightly more hops added giving it more of a crisp bitter finish.
Overall a pretty good lager. I'm not a huge fan of lagers but I could see this going down extremely well on a hot summers afternoon.

Got this one at Bert's Bierhuis in Utrecht.
From a bottle into a flute glass.
APPEARANCE: Pours a two finger, medium looking, fluffy white head with good retention. Perfectly clear golden amber yellow with lots of carbonation all over the place. A nice cap remains leaving lots of lacing down the glass.
SMELL: A bold pilsner nose with grainy pilsner malt, light bread and caramel, as well as some floral hop notes. Pretty nice.
TASTE: Pilsner malt, white bread, caramel and then some floral hops at the swallow. Bitterness with sweet grainy malt linger on the palate. Touches of sweet caramel as well. A bold finish lingers nicely.
PALATE: Medium body with medium levels of carbonation. Quite creamy smooth on the palate, goes down smooth and finishes dry.
OVERALL: This is a quality beer. I'd like to have this one against the lesser-respected pilsners to see where the differences actually lie. That would be interesting on a few levels. I'm not the hugest fan of the grainy pilsner malt flavor, but I'd gladly drink this again. Recommended.

Poured a crystal clear Light yellow from the bottle into a water glass. One inch white fluffy head with good retention, better retention than your avwrage pils.
That said, I'm really not a fan of pilsener, but this is one if the best I've tried. Very clean smell and flavor, exactly what one would want from the style. No aftertaste, fresh, crisp and refreshing. I would recommend this to anyone.

Appearance: Straw color; big, white head.
Smell: Some very light grass, hops
Taste: Overall fairly balanced between malts and hops; Starts with a slightly bitter, grassy taste but develops into a more level, perhaps biscuity ending.
Mouthfeel: Light to medium body. Medium carbonation, besides the big head; refreshing but lacks any kind of a “kick”. A rather oily aftertaste.
Drinkability: An OK, refreshing beer but it’s failed to impress me all 3 times I’ve drank it.

Look: Pours a pale straw color, half inch head that lasts about a minute or two.
Smell: Grain, grass, very light citrus.
Taste: Well balanced and clean. Slight malty sweetness comes at the end with a mild hoppy bite. Very drinkable and refreshing.
Mouthfeel: Feels a little thicker than I had expected, but still crisp and light.
Overall: Its a tasty beer. I would buy it again for a hot day, but wouldn't search it out specifically.

330ml bottle. Footed Pilsner glass. Enjoyed on jun´12. Pale straw color. White , rocky, crown shows good retention. Floral, mildy malt, aromas & piney touch. Crispy with subtle citric touch upfront. Clean earthy bitterness lingers into the finish balanced by moderate maltiness. Smooth palate. Light to medium body, lively carbonation.

A: Pours a pale straw color into a pilsener glass with a two finger white head. The head recedes fairly quickly and leaves mild lacing.
Pretty label and bottle with gold foil over bottlecap.
S: Yeasty, citrus and biscuity malt aromas.
T: Crisp, grassy, citrus, lemon, peppery, and slight hop bitter dry finish.
M: Light body with very active carbonation. Refreshing and crisp.
O: Delicious and crisp. Glad I picked this up while in Speyer. Would pursue again given the opportunity. A fine German brew.
