Sampled just after the Orlando AHA Conference in June.

The brewery is located in the Paramore section just to the south of Downtown and located right next to the Amtrak station. You've got to actually look for the facility to get there. It's a big warehouse that's a brewery first, but a good clean beer bar closely second.

Selection is a mix of Orlando Brewing's Organic Ales, Sierra Nevada, Abita, Anchor, Harpoon, Belhaven, Chimay, Paulaner and others.

Big bright industrial white space with huge ceilings and a low key clientele. Darts on the side.

When I was there, they were just getting started so it'll be interesting to see how they develop. If you're in the downtown area, give these guys a try. You'll be hard pressed to find a better selection of beer in the area.

When you walk in you're greeted with a very relaxed atmosphere. They have a pretty large bar and a few big tables to sit down at. As soon as we walked in the bartender (who is a volunteer) came up to our table and asked if we've ever visited and gave recommendations after talking with us and hearing what our tastes were. They offer A LOT more brews there than what they distribute and all of the ones I was able to try were fantastic. They sell growlers of anything except their two guest taps along with other merch and glassware. The only gripe I have is that the tour was incredibly boring and felt like more of a rant by the owner. Skip it!

Great fun place in an interesting but weird warehouse district. Still cool though. I recommend getting the variety flight. Good stuff all around.

Usually they have a food truck and live music on friday and saturday which is really fun. It's well worth it if you are planning to come to Orlando and want a fun night off to hit up a truly local spot.

Heck they are good enough to have a contract with Disney serving their beer in the American pavilion where people all over the world will associate it with American beer.

Great place! The beer was from good to great, and John (owner) makes a huge difference. Prompt service and good prices.

Beers reviewed and ratings:

Blonde Ale - B+
European Pilz - B
Pale Ale - C+
Olde Pelican IPA - B-
I-4 IPA - B
Red Ale - A
Brown Ale - A-
Blackwater Dry Porter - A-

We couldn't try all the beers in one visit, but this brewery is in our list for a visit next year. Reviews reflect our personal taste and not a scientific method, that's why the Pale Ale and the IPAs score lower. I'm sure that those who like pales and IPAs would rank them better as quality seems to be good all around.

Made a quick visit to Orlando Brewing last night. The place is out of the way in a sense, tucked amongst warehouses, etc. the tasting room was cool with neat decor....pics on the wall were taken by a local photographer (I think). Big american flag on one wall was neat. The quality of the beers was good. The service was outstanding....Kat the bartender was really friendly (not to mention good-looking) and very knowledgable about the beer. They had at least 10 or so of there own beers on tap and several guest beers. Overall I am glad I took the chance to visit.

Went to Orlando Brewing Sunday for the first time in year or so. Earlier visits had not impressed, but was hoping something new would stand out. Tasting room was candle lit, with two servers and eight to ten customers on a slow evening. Had an I.P.A. that was mild, but balanced and fresh tasting. Second beer was a kolsch that was so so. My friend had a red that was dry hopped, but it tasted stale and not the least hoppy. Our server poured his second beer in the same glass without a rinse. When he asked her about at least rinsing out the glass, she explained that "we never do that," but did offer a fresh glass. Orlando has other places like Shipyard Emporium or Redlight Redlight that care about their beer and customer service. I do not plan on going back.

Stopped by here on a Sunday afternoon and was pleasantly surprised. I had tried one of their brews at World of Beer, and it was good enough to warrant a visit. The place was a little off the beaten path, but the GPS brought us right to the front door without an issue. The place was a little dark, but nice and clean, and the bar was decent sized to accomodate 20+ taps. Plenty of tables around, as well. The tables have lacquered samples of hops, barley, and malt inlaid into them. Interested look and feel, combined with a lot of beer nostalgia and breweriana about the walls and shelves. Of interest is a shelf unit along the hallway leading to the bathrooms, were there are a plethora of pint glasses and other vessels from breweries all over the country. On to the beer. The brewery had over 20 beers on tap, with 3 or 4 guest taps (one of which was SN Bigfoot 2008)...samplers are available, and the initial is a paddle of 8. After that, you can pick up additional 4-slot paddles to finish the round, if you so choose. The service was great, and we learned that they are volunteers, so feel free to drop a decent tip...we did, and again, it was earned. We didn't have any food, and they don't have a kitchen, but they do offer pretzel sticks gratis, and they have bags of chips, snacks, candy, etc for sale. Also, there is bottled beer to go, as well as 4 different sizes of kegs available for purchase. Very fun place to hang out, and there were flyers for live music and other events/activities. I would absolutely return if we were in the area again, and I would recommend this place to anyone!

I just realized I must have deleted my old review.
ok I am going to review this place only compared to other brewery tasting rooms I been to. Last time I was there with another BA. last visit October 2009

you walk in and its nice and cool. its a rectangle place, with offices and restrooms on the right as you walk in. it has lots of tables. The restrooms are clean and the place is usually not that crowded in the daytime. The person behind the bar, (I cannot call someone who does not mix drinks a bartender), anyway the beer poring person, usually a daughter of someone working there, does not work for money but just tips. Which quite frankly bugs me a bit that they are volunteers, as these prices you know they can afford to pay a college student min wage.

no tv's and no music that I remember, but who cares I came to drink. There are only a few issues that bug me and one of them is taps that are empty, they should hood those so you don't see it and get your hopes up only to me told there are out. i am told they have bands on some nights. They also have a guy that cooks outside we seen him last time, german like food I think, and you can order out and they have big tables you can eat at.

They have a sample beer plate but they charge for it. This does bug me some, it should be free if you buy 1 beer each IMHO.

That is really my only beef with this place. I had an Oktoberfest it was 2008! and the year was 2009 but hey it tasted fine to me, but I am weird I like aged Oktoberfest beers. Plus I got to keep the really nice mug.

I did not find any beer Too overpriced, but It was happy hour, the beers are sold at a profit you can count on that. they have some you can take out and you can buy draft to go.

we have been here a few times now at least and I would go back its quiet and you can talk in this place, its not world class but the seating and chairs are decent, better than most I been in.

My only real problems with the place, the are down to very few guest beers now, and there own beer they are out of allot of stuff, at least when we been, 3 times now and they was out of something everytime. The beer line up is standard stuff nothing outstanding but most are decent, and they are organic if you give a hoot about that crap.

its worth going to, and it has it's regulars and all that not that friendly a place but hey what do you expect most of Florida is frigging Yankees, the rest rednecks, tourists and very few nice folks live here, except us....lol jokes. maybe.

We stopped by Orlando Brewing two weesk ago no a Saturday barely in time for the 6pm tour we wanted to do - but we made it thanks to their boss who likes to start late anyway. :-) The two girls behind the bar were very knowledgeable and nice and we sampled a few of their beers before and after the tour. The tour was good and informative from a standpoint that OBP is a green/organic brewery at least when it comes to the raw materials they use. As already mentioned; they don't serve food but sell their beer to go.

Orlando Brewing is in a building resembling a warehouse in a - you guessed it - warehouse district located just outside of downtown Orlando. It is a far cry, and a welcome change, from the tourist traps abounding everywhere else. It's simple. A bar, several tables, a nice outdoor patio with a stage for live music, and probably the biggest cloth American flag I've ever seen indoors hanging on the wall. It's your local joint. It's awesome.

They don't have a kitchen, but they provide a long list of menus from local places that will deliver. The pizza I ordered turned out pretty good, though I won't attribute it's goodness to the brewpub.

They have an awesome selection of beers, I believe it was somewhere around 16 of their own plus a great selection of never-before-seen-on-tap big beers. Many of their brews are organic, but less than a quarter would I rate as very good to amazing.

Of those few that obtained the amazing status was a dark IPA (my favorite, too bad it's not a regular), their Red and Porter. The IPA was very well balanced both in the various depths of hoppy goodness and malty characteristics. The Red was similar to a Scottish Ale without being overly sweet, and the porter was a bit thin, but still had a depth of character many are lacking.

On the other hand, I did not really care for any of their beers of lighter color. The pale was unimpressive, the IPA was too bitter upfront without anything to balance afterwards, and the lighter lagers/wheat beers were pretty bland (one exception: a Blonde Cream Ale which was quite refreshing).

But, overall, this place is well worth the trip for the beers alone. I also enjoyed the "rating" chart they passed out with the sampler, asking for opinions on each of their brews. Feedback is always important!
