A-Pours a clear, amber color with a medium, ivory head that dissapates too fast, with a little lacing.
S-The aroma is of sweet bready/caramel malts with noticable noble hop character.
T-The flavor is of sweet bready malts and milky caramel with notes of noble hoppy/spicy bitterness in the back. The bitterness is perfect imo.
M-The body is full and crisp and refreshing, slightly dry in the finish, which I like.
D-Very drinkable, glad I got to try this beer. Might bring this to a party, if not my homebrewed marzen.

Appearance: Slightly hazy dark amber with a tan-colored head, which soon fades to a slight dusting on the surface. The lacing is thick, glass-coating, and fine-beaded.
Aroma: Rich dark bread aroma is paired with moderately spicy hops and caramel.
Taste: Strong malt backbone with crusty dark bread and caramel notes, these carry the taste from start to close. There are also moderately spicy, earthy hops, and a bit of alcohol. Late in the taste there is a little wave of herbal hop bitterness.
Mouth feel: Smooth, soft, and full, pleasant, with little carbonation noted..
Drinkability/notes: A very pleasant and drinkable example, which compares favorably to native German examples.
Presentation: Packaged in a standard twelve-ounce brown glass long-neck style bottle with a pry-off crown, served in a New Belgium Brewing chalice.

Handsome orangey amber in the glass with a decent head. Quite sudsy with a sparkling, but light, mouthfeel. Some malty substance with a club soda taste on the tongue.
Malty nose with some caramel. Plenty of roast malt. Rather sweet but seems appropriate to the style. Some hints of hops with a little earthy bitterness at the finish. Clean flavor with a pleasing fruity touch, but just sharp enough to give it some balance. A hint of oily texture.
Thoroughly pleasant version of Oktoberfest. From the 12 oz bottle bought at Pinkie's in San Angelo.
