Appearance: This one pours a darker, caramel brown color. It's mostly clear. Perched atop is an off-white, two finger head. Retention on this one was more than solid and a nice, thick coat of lace lined the glass.
Smell: Whoa! Caramel malts are strong here. Not a good sign for me personally. They're followed by some citrus grapefruit and pineapple. It's surprisingly yeasty. Hops are noticeable, but seem to be drowned out by the wealth of caramel malt. It smells out of balance and it's not all that enticing at all.
Taste: My fears have been realized. Caramel malts are the predominant flavor. For an IPA, that's a poor quality. Some light citrus grapefruit and pineapple and a little sweetness. It's definitely yeasty. Did I mention the caramel malts are strong? Hops emerge a little late in the game and give it more of a bitter kick than I expected, but they're still drowned out way too much by the malts. It finishes sweet and a little bitter.
Mouthfeel/Drinkability: The body is medium. It's a got a decent feel, but it could stand more carbonation. Drinkability is really limited for me. The malt/hop balance is out of whack for an IPA. I'm not really enjoying this bottle much at all.
Trinity needs to work on this IPA. It primarily needs less malt and more hops. That would be a huge stip in the right direction. As it is, it's just very average. Not one I would suggest seeking out.

Poured from a 12 oz. bottle into a pint glass. Half inch head recedes into thin layer with nice lacing on the glass. Caramel malt and citrusy, floral hops in the nose.
The flavor is heavy on the malt with a consistent, but relatively mild bitterness from start to finish. This fits the English IPA style, but I do like a bit more bitterness. The mouth feel is appropriately solid. Overall, I enjoyed this beer, but the heavier malt nose and taste are not my favorite.

Poured at Trinity BH
Poured amber color with a white, 1" head with moderate retention. Moderate lacing.
Smell was of piney hops. Bitter aroma shines through
Taste is really high on the bitterness with a resiny hop taste. Some good malt presence as well. A bit of fruit comes theough on the sip as well.
Feel is medium and a bit sticky. Carbonation is light medium.
Overall, not a bad IPA. Surprised a bit
