Can poured into a pint glass at a NHL game

Appearance - the beer poured a light brown colour with an average size foamy/fizzy off white head that stuck around for a few minutes. There was an average amount of carbonation.

Smell - hops, toasted/roasted nuts, caramel and malts

Taste & Mouth - Having had this beer on draft, and from a bottle, I think the can was missing out slightly in the mouthfeel department. The beer seemed a little under carbonated. The most noticeable flavours are the malts and a roasted nut flavour. There is also some light hops and a brown sugar sweetness. The beer finishes with bittersweet aftertaste.

Drink - I'm happy to see this beer popping up everywhere. It is one of my favourite Ontario beers and it appears as though it is really making a name for itself. I wasn't happy with the 11$ price tag at the hockey game; but at least I wasn't limited to a Molson Canadian.

Serving Type - 473 can, poured into a nonic glass

Appearance - Pours a copper colour with a yellowish golden tinge. A good two fingers of head that dissipates quickly. Beautiful lacing around the glass.

Smell - Not a lot on the nose. A 'metallic' smell. Wondering if it could be from the can? Perhaps some grain and grass notes as well.

Taste - More complex than I was expecting, given the lacklustre aroma. Getting biscuity notes, some light glassy bits.

Mouthfeel - Medium carbonation, yet a satisfying crisp finish. Medium body, nothing to exciting.
