had to try this when I saw the beers on draft. hadn't heard of it before so of course I was curious.
I don't order many pilsners so I'll keep this review brief. Nice rich golden color with a nice white head. Nice light malty taste with a well placed undertone of hops. Maltier than I would've expected which is a great thing in my book. Had it with a quesadilla and it was perfect.
Worth an order if you see it and if I find it again in my local area I would definitely order it.

Clear orange in color with a thin 1/2 inch head. Nice carbonation bubbles present. Light lacing develops during the drink. The nose finds light malt, grass, and a hint of bitterness. The flavor follows the nose as light malt, grass, touch of granny apple, and a nice biting bitterness.
This brew leans towards the lighter side of medium bodied scale. Crisp start with a crisp, dry finish. I found this to be quite refreshing and extremely easy drinking.

Played some fetch with this one on 8/28/2004. 16-oz. pour in a shaker glass at the Blue Mermaid in Portsmouth, NH.
Frothy, ¼ inch initial head. As name belies, light gold hue and crystal clear with medium liveliness. Soupy soapiness to bouquet; pungent hay predominates. To taste, lemon and lime rind to start with just a small bite in its closing stages. Overall, light-bodied and a bit slippery on the tongue; not one to necessarily write home about, but decent enough.

Pours a clear medium-gold, topped with a one finger white head, leaves only sparse bits of lacing behind.
Light aroma, have to search for it, grass, light citrus zest.
A nice zestyness to the taste, peppery note, light toasted malt note, nutty aftertaste.
Light bodied and crisp, a pretty middle of the road German Pils.

Medium golden in color, and clear through and through. Seemed a tad darker than many Pils I've had. Topped off with a thin, white layer of bubbles, with a smidge of lacing. Nose was a mite grassy, but with a hoppy spiciness to it. Body was somewhat less than medium, and it gets bubbly/foamy on the tongue, though not nearly as prickly as some Pils. A little bready malt to start, followed but a spicy hop zing. Hops add a good zest to this bier, with a pleasant, lingering aftertaste. Nice bier! Zum Wohl!!

Went into my favorite watering hole and saw this on tap. Poured a nice golden color, with a good head. Taste was refreshing, although I noticed a lack of malt which I tend to exspect from a good pilsner. All in all, in was a good beer, crisp and delicious.
