Notes:
Early American colonialists, seeking natural ingredients for brewing ales, turned to pumpkins, which were plentiful, flavorful and nutritious. Blended with barley malt, pumpkins became a commonly used beer ingredient. Post Road Pumpkin Ale brings back this tasty tradition. Hundreds of pounds of pumpkins are blended into the mash of each batch, creating a beer with an orange amber color, warm pumpkin aroma, biscuity malt center, and crisp finish.

It's funny, I had gotten this sixer about 8 months ago, drank one and didn't really care for it, so it worked it way to the back of the fridge until last night.
Mind you this beer was beyond the best by date but here we go:
I didn't pour from the bottle, didn't think it be worth it I thought with its age it would be one sip and drain, but I was wrong. It was downright delightful. Tasted like pumpkin pie, more than just the spices but the actual pumpkin too, nice and full bodied, between the spices the pumpkin and the distinct breadiness it was awesome.

A: Pours a great amber color with tan head, light lacing down glass.
S: Aroma is of typical pumpkin pie spices cinnamon, clove, and nutmeg.
T: Taste is more of the same, pie spices. Light malt, hop presence not detectable to me.
M: Mouthfeel is medium bodied, good carbonation.
O: Overall a good beer and loved all six of these great easy drinkers.
