12 ounce bottle poured into a pint glass. Bubbly off-white head sitting on a very bubbly, semi-transparent dark orange body. Little retention but reasonable lacing.

Aroma is very spicy; nutmeg, cinnamon, spiced pumpkin, obviously. Very generous amounts of caramel hops are also present. Somewhat of an apple aroma hidden as well.

Flavor is mellow, gentle, and overall fairly pleasant. Caramel mixes with the spices very well, and not as pumkpiny as some pumpkin ales I've tried. Light earthy hops give it a mildly dry finish.

Crisp, light body. Well-carbonated and fairly sharp. I definitely prefer a fuller and smoother mouthfeel when it comes to this style.

Meh, it's not bad, but it's not great. Seeing as along with Blue Moon and Shock Top, this was the only pumpkin ale I have been able to find in this town, I will probably get more before the end of the fall... but there are much better examples out there.

A: Pours a great amber color with tan head, light lacing down glass.

S: Aroma is of typical pumpkin pie spices cinnamon, clove, and nutmeg.

T: Taste is more of the same, pie spices. Light malt, hop presence not detectable to me.

M: Mouthfeel is medium bodied, good carbonation.

O: Overall a good beer and loved all six of these great easy drinkers.
