Notes:
Early American colonialists, seeking natural ingredients for brewing ales, turned to pumpkins, which were plentiful, flavorful and nutritious. Blended with barley malt, pumpkins became a commonly used beer ingredient. Post Road Pumpkin Ale brings back this tasty tradition. Hundreds of pounds of pumpkins are blended into the mash of each batch, creating a beer with an orange amber color, warm pumpkin aroma, biscuity malt center, and crisp finish.

Big fan of pumpkin beers so I look forward to trying something new.
It looks delicious. Orange-amber bubbly with a half finger of khaki head and a bit of lacing.
Smells soapy, floral, lemony, squash. Faint underlying allspice, and yes..pumpkin meat.. becomes more prominent when the blast of florals fade, and there is caramel malt.
Taste..crackers, bread with a soapy/floral pumpkin element which I believe may be the particular flavor of squash or pumpkin flesh used in the mash. Lemons. There is detectable pumpkin, but I'm not digging how its presented. There isn't enough supporting spice, and quite cleary not enough sweetness..but maybe this is purely fermented pumpkin?
Mouthfeel is way too light and watery. It's akin to fermented pumpkin water. It doesn't hold together at all.
Overall. Not too good. There are far better pumpkin ales. Add in a bit of sweetness?

A - Deep orange, almost brown. Looks like a standard pumpkin ale, with a light white foam ring crowning it well. Good retention.
S - Mostly pumpkin, backed by a solid biscuit malt. Slightly sweet, with some very faint cinammon and possible ginger notes.
T - A slice of pumpkin rolled through butter and given life through an ale. Delicious and moderate. Not the most unique or exciting, but it serves it's purpose well, and could be enjoyed in quanitity.
M - just thick enough to be inviting. Not too carbonated, not too sweet and thick, just a refreshing, drinkable ale.
O - Pumpkin ales are a style that invite alot of different interpretation. This is an easy drinker, refreshing, and probably right for a six-pack kinda night

Nice orange copper colored beer with an appealing creamy white head. Slightly hazy.
Sweetness and spice in the aroma. Not an overwhelming aroma in general, but nice.
Malty flavor upfront and spices in the finish. I would prefer a bolder malt profile.
Medium bodied. Pleasant carbonation. Everlasting dry finish.
Solid pumpkin ale. I would prefer more malt sweetness to balance the spice.
