Poured from a 750 ml bottle into a weizen glass. 08/12/08. Bottle and label both look very elegant. Corked & caged, cork came out with a loud pop.

Pours a slightly cloudy pale golden orange color. A moderate pour produced a beautiful four finger soft beige head. The head dropped slowly to a thin layer and left some nice lacing. Looks well-carbonated, with a steady stream of rising bubbles. Aroma is amazing. Lots of citrus (orange, lemon), banana, wheat, clove, and fairly hoppy.

Taste is equally impressive. A generous amount of hops, along with plenty of wheat character. Lots of citrus flavor - orange, lemon, coriander. Some clove and pepper and other spice as well. A bit of banana flavor as it warms. It's like a hoppy wheat beer. Really tasty!

Feel is also very good. It has a medium body and is well-carbonated. Not too much, but enough to keep it very lively and bubbly. Fairly clean finish as well. Drinkability is good as well. The alcohol is well hidden and it really goes down nicely. I'd keep drinking this all night if I could.

This really is an excellent take on the style. I'm really digging these collaboration beers. My only gripe on this one is the price (I paid ~$13 for 750 ml). I definitely recommend this one.
