Bottle into a pils glass, crystal clear gold colour with about a centimetre of head. Lots of rising bubbles.

Smells really nice. Fresh-baked scones and lemon. Flavors of lightly toasted grain and zesty lemony hops, herbal on the back. Not all that complex but a pretty great lawnmower beer.

Not really an English pale ale anyway, and more carbonated than any I can think of. Crisp and refreshing. A lot of crummy lager drinkers would take to this quite readily. Extremely drinkable.

Served on tap in a pint glass

Appearance- Served a medium golden amber colored brew with a small white head. The head fades quite fast leaving only a trace level of lace on the sides of the glass.

Smell – The aroma is sweet and citrusy. A little bit of breadiness and wheat is mixed with a good dose of sweet lemon and grapefruit as well as an orange smell.

Taste – The taste begins with a slightly grainy and malty taste with some flavors of lemon upfront. The lemon is on the slightly sweeter side up front, but sours more as the taste advances to the end. Along with the souring in the taste so too comes flavors of a more bitter hoppy flavor. The hop are of a herbal and citrus nature, leaving a odd bitter but sour taste to linger on the tongue.

Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is thinner then average in creaminess and thickness with a carbonation level that is rather average. Both are good for the style of the beer and create a light refreshing feel overall.

Overall – Not bad, but a little too much bitterness which takes away slightly from the more refreshing characteristics of the brew.
