12oz bottle into Duvel artist tulip
A - clear, straw yellow. Moderate head with a vigorous pour that fades quickly. Mild lacing.
S - very typical "summer" beer aroma. Sweet malt with hints on lemons and other light smells. Not a strong nose but present thankfully.
T - lemons first. pale malt body carries it through the quaff (i hate that word). Faint bitterness mixed with lemons finish it off nicely. Easy drinking if a little lack luster.
M - Light. Easy on the palate as most summer beers are. I should have tried this in cans as it is ideally suited for coolers at the beach/pool.
O - for the style, its fair to average. For a good summer beer with some flavor its slightly better than most of the drivel I've tried over the years. Not bad, so long as you drink it for what it is.

Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance- Served a medium golden amber colored brew with a small white head. The head fades quite fast leaving only a trace level of lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is sweet and citrusy. A little bit of breadiness and wheat is mixed with a good dose of sweet lemon and grapefruit as well as an orange smell.
Taste – The taste begins with a slightly grainy and malty taste with some flavors of lemon upfront. The lemon is on the slightly sweeter side up front, but sours more as the taste advances to the end. Along with the souring in the taste so too comes flavors of a more bitter hoppy flavor. The hop are of a herbal and citrus nature, leaving a odd bitter but sour taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is thinner then average in creaminess and thickness with a carbonation level that is rather average. Both are good for the style of the beer and create a light refreshing feel overall.
Overall – Not bad, but a little too much bitterness which takes away slightly from the more refreshing characteristics of the brew.
