Not much of a head but a good clarity though, thin and sweet malty aroma. Slightly sweet with a forced carbonation bite, bitterness from the hops is mild. Faint toasted malt flavours are there but seem placid. Decent at best but does a great job of washing down the mammoth burgers I have at McHale’s in NYC.

Average looking beer, clarity, yellow/copper, average head. Aroma lacking anything beyond a minimal sweetness.
Wish there were more hops. Bland pale ale. Thin on hops and malt. English style pale ale at best. Lots of water in this one. No offputting flavors, just really, not much in flavor, unless mildly sweet counts. Pass.

Poured a reddish amber with a finger of off-white, average retention, and decent lacing. Malty, malty, and more malty; very sweet and caramel in the nose. The taste was no different, with lots of sweet caramel/malt flavor and a sweet finish. The body was medium and well carbonated, but it may have seemed thicker because of the sweet flavor. A very one-dimensional beer.

Look: Poured 12 oz bottle into mug. Almost no foam! Great reddish-brown color.
Smell: Big malted barley smell with really unique hops. Also it has a unique chocolate smell.
Taste: It has that "Irish" taste to it, I really can't describe it better than if you've had any beer like Guinness. Other than that it has a good clean water taste with a barley, hops, and light chocolate flavor.
Mouthfeel: Pretty thin only thing that is left behind after your done with your drink is a smoky "Irish" flavor.
Drinkability: Surprisingly real easy! Nothing hinders the easiness of enjoying this beer. I was surprised to find out that Pabst made this beer. It has no Pabst taste at all. Really good beer, and worth a try, if you can find it.

This wasn't bad, and I think many are rating against the big brewery concept. Poured from the bottle to a orange-amber color, a thin off white head that dissipated quickly and little lacing. Aroma was pretty muted, but what was there was spicy fruit. Mouthfeel was tingly and medium bodied, with a taste of spices and slight fruited hops. Finish pleasant and full. Would make a good session beer.

12 oz bottle at Crazy Bruce's in CT.
Thin head, thin body, orange-yellow color with very minimal carbonation. Smell and taste is a touch hoppy, a touch sweet, and a touch grainy, but the strains of malt is more English/Euro than American (mis-classified as an APA).
Sweet malty character and watered down finish. Light bodied and relatively smooth. I could probably have another but I luckily have bigger and better things to try.

The aroma is sweet with toasted malt and hops. The appearance is light amber with a small head. The flavor is like the aroma. The palate is average for the style. Overall a drinkable beer but not a very enjoyable beer. I will say that I have had worse but that is not saying much.

Served at just over fridge temperature in an imperial pint glass, and paired with wheat crackers and cheese. A real bargain at $4.99 a sixer at Bottle King, let's see if this was the deal of the century or money down the tubes...
Appearance- Slightly over three fingers of well formed head rises over the reddish gold color of this ale. It's full and attractive, leaving some but not much lacing behind.
Smell- The nose is dominated by English style hops, with a bready aroma and some malt for balance. The style, according to this site, is an APA... I certainly don't see anything in common with what I've come to know as an American Pale Ale. That aside, the aroma is quite pleasant and distinctive.
Taste- Where the nose is expressive, clean, and zippy, the flavors in this beer come across as cheap and much less impressive. Once the beer is rolled around in the mouth, the hops and malts defer to what appears to be a sweeter adjunct type of taste (corn?)... offering no reward for the anticipated and hopeful overall quality. It gets worse as the glass becomes more empty.
Mouthfeel/Drinkability- Unfortunately, the mouthfeel is no better than some of the worst macro or adjunct lagers I've experienced... it simply falls apart the moment it is gently swished, going from light-bodied and gently prickly to tap water in seconds. I've now sampled this beer two ways... cold right from the bottle during band practice, and quietly from a glass analyzing all of its attributes. The former would be the way to go if there is a next time.

An unmemorable entry into the Pale Ale genre.
Pours copper with a thin head that falls to slight lacing. The aroma is slight, with a hint of roasted malt (just a pinch for color, I suspect).
The flavor is thin, with a little roasted character, a little toffee character and little in the way of hop bitterness or flavor. The mouthfeel is thin and the whole beer passes away with dismaying rapidity. There really isn't much too this beer, which dissolves to a faintly unpleasant sourness in the aftertaste.
