Presentation: 12 oz can, no freshness date. I love the boasting on the can; 1999 GABF Gold medal winner Americas Best Tasting Light Beer.
Appearance: Translucent very pale yellow, perfect clarity with a minimal yet sticky lace on top.
Smell: Very clean nose with hints of grain and a smidgen of hops.
Taste & Mouthfeel: Super smooth with a spot on crispness, watery malt and cereal grain flavour. Very little hops at all, just a small amount of bitterness and not flavour. Very clean on the palate with little to no off flavours I could not detect any. Clean and dry.
Notes: This is what a light beer is supposed to be, If I was a light beer drinker this is the one I would go for time and time again.

Appearance: Medium golden body, with an off white, coarse head which fades rapidly., despite blizzards of carbonation. The lacing is thin and scattered.
Aroma: Lots of cooked cereal and cooked vegetables, a slight mineral note and faint hops.
Taste: Very restrained malt notes and faint hops vie with mineral water notes. As the taste progresses, the impression of mineral water is strengthened. Finishes clean with a faint herbal hop flavor.
Mouth feel: Thin and seltzer-like.
Drinkability/notes: Not as bad as one might think. It would surely be refreshing on a hot summer day. Old Milwaukee Light is a quintessential "lawnmower" beer. Its surely not craft beer, but no one ever said it was. For what it is, its not bad.
Presentation: Packaged in a sixteen fluid ounce aluminum can, served in a New Belgium Brewing chalice.

Poured from can into a pint glass
Appearance –Pours a light straw color with a big billowy white head. The head has a surprisingly nice level of retention slowly fading over time to leave a rather decent level of lacing on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is quite basic and consists mostly of some sweet corn malt smells as well as some light bready aromas. Mixed with the rest is also a very light papery smell.
Taste – Overall the taste is very light and watery. The taste begins with a lighter corn and bready flavor. The corn flavor is actually quite a bit lighter then would have been expected from the nose. As the taste advances these two flavors remain relatively constant but are, at the end, joined by a light caramel sweetness, a light papery taste, and a tiny bit of citrus. Overall it leaves a rather dry and crisp taste on the tongue.
Mouthfeel –The body of the beer is very low in terms of thickness with a carbonation level that is average to above average. Quite appropriate for the style, although even more carbonation may have been better for the very light flavors and drinkability of the beer.
Overall – If you are looking for something light then this is your choice. It’s flavors are super mellow, it is very watery, highly drinkable, and decently refreshing.

Served in an Ohio State shaker pint glass.
Now this is what Spelunky ordered... It pours a clear pale sallow topped by a finger of short-lived off-white foam. The nose comprises hard water, sweet corn, and light rice. The taste mirrors things nearly identically, though the hard water is definitely on display here. Yay. The body is quite light, with a moderate carbonation and a watery feel. Overall, if I were actually drinking this for the fun of it, I'd probably be even more unhappy than I am. This is best suited for quick alcohol-delivery systems, like beer pong or other drinking games. Sad.

Old Milwaukee Light has a thick, stark-white head, a clear, bubbly, straw appearance, and a surprisingly good amount of residual lacing. The aroma is faint sweetness and grain, and the flavor is the same, and it has almost no hop bitterness. Mouthfeel is light and watery, and Old Milwaukee Light finishes crisp, clean, refreshing, dry, and ultra drinkable. Overall, for what it is, it's a very good beer.
