A: Straw, fizzy white head.

S: Clean, grain, not much going on.

T: Very crisp and somewhat sweet. The hop is strained and weak. Very grainy in the finish.

M: Very smooth and light for a lager.

O: Your run of the mill macro brew. Pretty clean and unoffensive.

Bottle at Red's 495 Grill (actually thought I was having a beer from the state of Texas, but I now see its by Pabst) oh well:

Into a pint glass:

A: clear yellow body with a quickly dieing half finger white foamy head, streams of carbonation are seen rising at a moderate pace

S: corn/rice adjuncts up front, mainly sweet

T: sweet corn/rice backed up by some breadiness, corn adjunct aftertaste, dry crisp finish

M: light, sessionable, carbonation seems to be right on for the style and for me

O: not bad for the style, but probably not a repeat for me, I'd probably only have it again if it was served

I mean...it is what it is. Had this at Atlantic Beer Garden in Boston. It's got a sweet but musty smell to it. A little dull. This hails as the "National Beer of Texas". Come on Texas, you can do better than that! I'd probably rather go with a PBR if this is the genre of beer that is called for.
