Simple is best - could be the motto of this beer. Although it was dirt cheap... but thanks to all of your reviews I decided to try it!
Golden color with rich carbonation that is still okay, though close to the unpleasant limit. Doesn't smell much and the taste is still acceptable but sonehow it feels quite good! As a märzen it is typically fruity (?) in the German way, hints of apple linger on. Tastes quite clear although you doubt it's all that natural. Cheap, perhaps artificial but still feels good. Does the job well.

Schladminger Märzen
vom fass @ Gösser Bierklinik, Wien

Not so much a Märzen as a helles with a little girth to it, this crystal clear golden lager displays a long lasting bright white head and decent lacing. It's malt component is solidly flavorful, but not as full as might be expected, and balanced by spicy and grassy hops. The bitterness is stiff, centering the malt and hops as expected. It's pleasantly more grainy/malty than a standard pils, yet remains just as drinkable; however a fuller malt character is really needed under the "Märzen" moniker.

Unlike the previous poster, I wasn't able to enjoy this in the mountains in Austria. I was, however, very priviledged to enjoy this rare import with my brother-in-law.

A - Pours a light golden colour, thick bubbly head with great retention, leaving nice bubble mountains. The lacing was also very nice, leaving thick bubble chunks on the side of the glass.

S - Scent was a mix of cloves and grassy hops with a lemon citrus finish.

T - Grassy wheat, bready malts and some light citrus hops on the finish. The hops may have mellowed as this is an older bottle, however, the flavours are still quite nice.

M - This one goes down extremely smooth, but it is a tad watery. This, again, is likely due to the fact that it's an older bottle, and I would imagine that fresh off the tap it would boast nice bubbly carbonation.

D - Very delicious offering, and I was glad I was given an opportunity to try it. Nicely balanced flavours, and extremely drinkable. With the only drawback being the carbonation level, this one is worthy to anyone who can get their hands on a bottle.

A beer that really touts where its produced...in the mountains, where everything is clean pure and blah blah blah.

Appearance is of a typical golden Märzen, it holds a nice head bright and white. Aroma is heavy is heavy in straw and grains. Not much bitterness there backing anything up. Flavor is clean and unadulterated. Some mellow bitterness behind a grainy malty forefront. Easy to put back two or three, but after that gets a boring.

Not a beer to be evaluated critically. Its a simple brew thats easy to drink. Don't waste your time judging this one, rather enjoy the surroudings while drinking it.
