This was poured from tap into a pint glass. Pours dark orange color with a nice and foamy head.
There is very nice balance to the aromas of grains, amber notes, crackers and some bits of navel oranges as well.
medium bodied with a good smooth feel though it is slightly lacking on the mid. Balanced with straightforward flavors of grains, amber notes and some navel oranges.
I enjoyed this. A quality marzen that hit the spots I was looking for.

Poured from a 16 oz. undated bottle: clear, deep golden to copper with a nice, creamy off-white head.
Very typical, rather average aroma for an oktoberfest: solidly malty and perfumy with just a hint of noble hops.
Flavor begins with the standard malty, sweet flavor with hints of molasses. A very faint fruity flavor is evident in the aftertaste. Despite the emphasis on malt, the lager never becomes cloying.
Perhaps the best characteristic: rather thick bodied on the palate with a very pleasing, creamy mouthfeel.
Overall, this was enjoyable, but it did not really stand out from all the oktoberfests this season.

A- Pours a copper color that isn't quite as clear as I'd expect. A fairly thin white head, has solid retention and leaves some nice spotty lacing.
S- Quite a bit of bready and sweet malts in the nose. A bit of biscuit and caramel here too.
T- Follows the nose really well. The malts are up and front and never let down. A bit of a floral hop toward the end. Crisp and well balanced.
M- Medium in body and carbonation.
O- Very easy to drink and a great example of the style.

16 ounce bottle. Served in a mug, the beer pours a clear orange/amber color with an inch off-white head that sticked around for a while. There's also a good amount of lacing. Aroma is caramel malt, light grassy hops and a bit of fruit. It tastes like caramel and bready/grainy malt, green hops and some nuts. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's a bit creamy with moderate carbonation. It's also smooth and easy to drink. I'd buy it again, it's a good beer. $9.99 a 4-pack.

(Served in a dimple mug)
A- This beer has a touch of haze to the deep orange body and a thin film of foam that is a bit fizzy and a slow sea of microbubbles.
S- The Vienna malt has a touch of honey malt support to it. There is a hint of green hops in the finish.
T- The Pils malt has some nice cracker and biscuit notes and a dry crisp green spicy noble hop finish.
M- The medium mouthfeel has a creamy texture from the tight fizz and no alcohol heat. There is a sweetness to the malt that is enhanced by the fizz.
O- The great fresh malt flavor has nice depth and good character with a good Saaz hop support. There is a touch of sweetness that really enhances the malt flavor.
