Strong aroma has a very firm overtone of peach - it really does smell like a freshly cut peach, and I love peaches! It has a wheaty hint as well. Pours a hazy, nearly opaque honey golden with a thick and rather persistent palest honey-tan head. Wheaty flavor has a firm and somewhat sweet, but not too sweet, overtone of peach. Got me thinking - is it possible to make peach cider or peach wine? Well, the Japanese make plum wine - pourquoi pas? OK, enough digression. Texture has good body and good fizz, definitely some peach in the finish. If you love peaches, you should love this beer.

A: A very cloudy orange color with chunks of yeast floating. Thin white head.
S: Almost smells like fresh peaches and cream. A nice wheat aroma to it also.
T: It almost tastes like an orange creamsicle with a little bit of peach mixed in. Finishes a little bit bitter and dry with a lingering peaches and cream flavor.
M: Very smooth mouthfeel with light carbonation. About as drinkable as it gets.
O: The flavors in this beer are very nice. If you like peach beers then I would recommend this one. It differs from others in the fact that it finishes dry which I like. Some others can be over the top sweet.

On tap at Barley's in Asheville
A - pours a hazy orangeish yellow with a thin layer of white head.
S - smells like peaches and a hint of wheat
T - wheat, peaches, a bit sweet, peach cobbler
M - light, smooth, little carbonation
This is a decent beer that's refreshing and easily drinkable. It's worth trying.

A: Pours a cloudy golden orange in color with a significant amount of sediment in suspension in the bottom half of the beer. The beer has a finger tall foamy off-white head that reduces quickly to a patch of thin film towards the center of the beer and a thicker ring at the edges of the glass. Very light lacing is observed.
S: The smell of this beer is great - strong aromas of peaches just like you would find at a farmer's market anywhere in the South in summertime. Wonderful peach sweetness...
T: The flavor of this beer is rather mild with some lingering bitterness. There is very little of the peach sweetness from the smell in the flavor and a light amount of wheat notes. Some light notes of peach which tastes quite natural, not artificial like you often find.
M: Light to medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation.
O: Light and easy to drink, along with being refreshing. I was a little disappointed by how light the peach flavors were though I appreciate the fact that the beer was not overly sweet or artificially flavored. The smell of this beer is very inviting.

A-Pours like mop-water. Very murky and hazed. Light crust of bubbles. Head dies down to nearly nothing.
S-An explosive whiff of artificial peaches. Smells like melted down Peach flavored Jolly Ranchers. Behind the whopping sugared peach aroma is a subtly pleasant combination of bread and spice.
T-The taste initially strangles the tongue with the peach flavor. However, the flavor dies down and segways into the beer's underbelly. Light spice and bready malt hides behind the peaches. Crisp underlying flavor helps to mellow out the rigid initial flavor of fake peach.
M-The body is fuller than most Fruit beers. Carbonation is not very intense. The feel works well with the beer's body and flavor profile.
O/D-Tastes better than it sounds. Wouldn't order it again. Would expect this Peach Beer to taste worse.

Appearance is a cloudy gold; the thick white head has good retention. The smell is very nice with a noticeable peach scent, perhaps a bit of lemon in the background. The taste has typical wheat beer flavors of lemon and coriander, but with a touch of peach as well to make it interesting. It strikes a nice balance; slightly sweet but not overly fruity. I haven't had too many fruit beers that I've cared for, but this one was very good.

A - Pours an extremely murky orangish golden amber color with very little head, but pretty good lacing for this type of beer.
S - Wheat, peach and yeast notes. Pleasant, but not strong.
T - Very, very peachy. A bit tangy and syrupy tasting. If you like peaches, this will be a great tasting wheat beer for the summer months. This gets better with every sip.
M - Medium bodied, great carbonation levels, a bit chewy, the peach flavors really linger on your mouth. I really wish I had more than one of these right now.
O - This one really surprised me. This is really tasty and a great summer-style beer. I really love peaches, so I look forward to having this one again. It's very peachy and could become one of my regular summer rotation beers, enjoy!

I have had this beer both on tap and in a bottle. It is completely different on tap! The bottle left me with a bad after taste and sort of stale. On draft, the beer is very smooth with a burst of peach flavor! Overall, I enjoy the beer, but prefer their Black Pearle and Fish Paralyzer. I had this at the RJ Rockers Brewery

A: Hazy, amber/gold color. Thin head, zero lacing
S: Peaches and some more peaches
T: A whole lotta peaches and nothing else.
M: exploding peaches. Heavily carbonated which actually compliments the peaches.
Overall: I'm not a huge peach person, but this was a very solid peach wheat. Sure it was overpowering, but it was over powering in a good way. Would love to try it on draft.

I don't typically enjoy wheat beers. I usually don't even think to order them because I don't even feel like I can judge them fairly, but while visiting this brewery in SC I decided to try it.
I'm sure this beer changes from year to year because it is a seasonal. It pours very cloudy and orange. It has a very nice head though and smells sweet and peachy. I'm guessing they use frozen peaches because fresh would probably add a very inconsistant flavoring depending on the crop.
I can definitely taste the higher abv in this beer. It has a somewhat bitter finish, but think it's a great wheat beer.

A - A very cloudy golden color. TONS of sediment floating in the glass...obviously unfiltered. I am a sucker for sediment floating through out the beer
S - Peaches, peaches, and more peaches. That is all
T -Sweet peaches. Millions of peaches, peaches for me
M - Medium bodied, lots of carbonation
O - For those who love Peach. Seriously. It dominates everything else.

A - Color is a hazy peach colored amber. Head is a pretty good half inch with slight sticky lacing. Damn big chunks of sediment.
S - Smells like peach schnapps with a mild wheat backbone. Smells pretty good actually.
T - Well it actually doesn't have too much sweet taste more of a natural fruit skin kind of flavor. Tart and acidic with the wheat working into the flavor. Damn I wanted more sweet... Actually tastes like beer.
M - Medium bodied something about the body makes it hard to drink.
Overall well I can't get this locally and really don't want to drink it again. Was different that sweeter, artificial flavored peach beers.

12 oz bottle served in a Duvel tulip.
Pours a cloud peach amber with a quickly fading soapy off white head. Aroma is canned peach syrup with light wheat and straw. Grainy wheat body with surprisingly not as much sweetness as expected. Still artificial peach sweetness dominates throughout and syrup lingers through the finish. Syrupy, medium thick body with low carbonation. Well, I enjoyed this more than I expected and it had less Jolly Rancher like quality to it than others have attributed, but still not something I'd return to.

was about finish the last bottle of a six pack I got awhile back and realized I hadn't reviewed this one yet.
Poured from 12oz bottle into pint glass
A-poured a very cloudy ochre with about a 2 finger head that lasted quite a long time leaving a lot of lacing
S-lots of peaches in the smell not much else
T-light flavors of peaches like the smell just not much else to go along with it
M-nice carbonation give a good medium body
O-not bad nothing to get too excited about though but makes a nice refreshing brew for something a little different

Appearance is gold with particles a floating, the way a wheat should look. Smell is peachy, which it should have seeing it is named son of a peach. Mouthfeel, bright and evervecent on the tongue. Taste is nice, if you like peach. The right balance, reminds us of that syrip in canned peaches. Overall as wheat beer it is ok, your typical "style" beer. Will go well with pie and whipped cream. Ha.. Oh throw in some southern BBQ.

A Pours orange, cloudy and with a thin foam head. Minimal lacing. Sediment visible in glass.
S - The peach scent is incerdible. Smells natural, sweet, and inviting. A secondary wheat aroma is there too; smells like cooked pasta.
T - Flavors of peach are forefront. There is a bit of tangy citrus and grain taste as well. Just lots of flavor and if you like peaches you will love this.
M - Smooth flavors, a bit of a gritty feel to it. Light bodied.
O - This is a variant of what Cigar City does with Peach Jai-Alai. I think this is equally as good though as a different style. Really enjoying these folks from SC.

The smell of this beer is amazing with all the other elements paling in comparison. The color of the beer is interesting. Yes, it's cloudy but the bi-color peach and pinkish-orange brings to mind peach melba. The head isn't all that thick but it does stick around to the bottom of the glass.
When you get a whiff you don't want to stop smelling this beer. It smells like someone opened a can of sweet Cling peaches and poured a little bit of golden ale into it. This is addictive and I wish the taste had followed suit. The peach is still there, but dried out. The wheat helps to bring peach cobbler to your thoughts, well without the cinnamon. There is an acridness that doesn't kill the experience but I do wish it wasn't there as it messes with the mouthfeel. Otherwise this is a pretty nice beer.

Poured a honey gold color with a dense creamy snow white head that was genarous with lace.
Peachy malty goodness from THE PEACH STATE of South Carolina.
Very smooth peachy malty goodness again, well done.
creamy and easy drinking summer beer, for us in SC that summer is around 7 or 8 months.
I will say that this is outstanding for the style, a real lady pleaser to boot.

A: The beer is cloudy very dark yellow in color and has some subtle hints of orange. It poured with a thin off white head.
S: There are strong aromas of fresh peaches in the nose—almost so real that you can feel the peach fuzz.
T: The taste is similar to the smell but doesn’t have as strong flavors. There is little if any sweetness and more hints of bitterness.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: The beer is quite light and refreshing. Despite all of the peaches, it’s not that difficult to drink because the flavor isn’t artificially sweet.

This brew poured out as a clear golden colored brew with a white head on top that hung around for a good amount of time. The smell of the beer has some nice peach aromas mixed with a touch of wheat as well. The taste of the beer is a little tart at first, catching me off guard. The more I drink the sweeter the taste of the peach becomes and the less sour it is. The mouthfeel of this beer is pretty nice, it's lighter bodied and refreshing in the warmer months. Overall this beer was enjoyable for me, I wouldn't drink it all the time but having it on random occasions wouldn't be bad.

A - Poured a hazy, golden orange colored body...the head was small and off white in color...it poured as a wispy cap and did not show much retention, but it did leave some lacing behind
S - Juicy peaches dominate the nose...they do come across a little concentrated though...some pale wheat lingers in the background
T - The peach flavor carries over and jumps out first...again it's coming across as peach juice concentrate...the wheat malt comes across a little sweet, but as it fades it brings in a drying aspect...the big thing I'm getting in the flavor profile is caramel dipped peaches...it keeps coming back to me
M - Medium bodied...juicy peaches...drying wheat malt takes away all sweetness
O - I actually had high hopes for this beer after hearing about it...it came across as just another average fruit beer...the peaches tasted as if they were concentrated and a big caramel dipped peach flavor kept coming back

This is what happens when you try to get cute with beer. I had such high hopes for this stuff. Heard it was the iconic beer of RJ Rockers. Looked great. Smelled great. Everything seemed to be going well until I took that first sip then . . . . I'm not sure what they have done to this beer. The peach flavoring must come from the peach pit. It doesn't taste much like peaches. As much as it pains me to say it, Bud Light Lime is much better. I'm just thankful I didn't buy a growler of it.

A - Really hazy orange-yellow beer with a small white head that didn't leave anything on the sides. Lots of fine floaty stuff in there that actually makes the beer sparkle a little bit. Kind of neat looking.
S - Smells like a wheat beer with just the slightest bit of peach taste.
T - Starts out with some fruit taste that seems a little more apricot than peach. It's not a bad fruit taste, falls a little bit flat at the end, kind of a carbonated wheat that is pretty unfulfilling. I had low expectations so it's okay for what it is.
M - Medium bodied with some tongue-biting carbonation. A bit fuller than what I was expecting.
O - Passable, but not near the realm of "good" wheat beers. Would pass on this in the future.

Bottle shared by Dan. Thanks!
A: The beer pours a hazy golden color with a finger of white head.
S: Definitely smells like a peach beer. Intense peach aroma that is a bit artificial and sugary, but good nonetheless. I'm actually reminded of Peach O's/Rings. Sort of a guilty pleasure thing.
T: Though I really liked the aroma, the flavor is really unimpressive. It's far too bitter for a fruit beer without enough peach flavor. A bit of bread and straw, and shockingly, not enough sugar/sweetness.
M: Light bodied with a medium carbonation.
O: This smelled really great, but the flavor was not very good.

I had this in Asheville, NC at the Thirsty Monk South. Happened to try this when a buddy ordered one. Color is amber/red. Aroma is of wheat and peaches. I'm not a huge peach fan, but this beer is refreshingly tasty. Fruit comes through well and is just sweet enough to be refreshing without being cloying. Would be a great beer on a hot day.
