Wow! I was supprised to see such a great beer selection in such a unassuming liquor store in downtown Waterbury of all places. They have imports which I've never seen in Vermont before. Good selection of Vermont and New England regional beers. US micros not from nearby are also as well represented as our state allows. Anchor, Rogue, Sierra Nevada. TThe only bad thing I can say about this place is: where are the growlers??? I would have expected some Shed and Rock Art seasonal growlers here, but nope. Alas, at least they have all else.

Recommended to me by BA Scottum and backed up by Beerfly reviews.
First impression is overwhelmingly of wine, which is everywhere when you walk in. But a nice big relaxing breath, and a quick sashay to the right and deeper into the shop, and you see a full cooler along the right wall, and many racks of 750s on the left side of that aisle. My mission today was VT brews, and they had their bases covered, although (as another BA stated) I wish there was more Rock Art to check out rather than just three brews in stock. But the McNeil's (hidden away inside the cooler, "Go on in!" as the nice clerk woman said when I asked about their location) was the find, was able to get 11 different 22s of his brews, and then the last 22 of Magic Hat Single Chair Ale in stock rounded out the case. Mix 6-packs of 12ozers were not a problem, although it was requested to do so out of room temp stock if necessary, which wasn't a problem either.
The help was a bit distracted checking out my dog and baby daughter in the car with my wife, patiently waiting for me to indulge my needs, and actually helped me carry my bounty out to the car for a quick visit. Never quite had service like that at a beer store before. I will be back, which I think is the best recommendation a person can have.

Great store in a little known area. Why would you go to Waterbury? Lost on your way to Stowe to ski perhaps? I have friends in town and happened by. Great store in a not-so-little, but not well-known town in VT. Lots of booze and wine, and a great selection of microbrews and some interesting imports. Service is great, and they will try to get you something if it's not in stock. The sister store in Stowe can provide. Lots of one-off's, especially from the local VT breweries, particularly Magic Hat, just 45 minutes up the road. If you're in the area (by mistake), check it out, you won't be disappointed.
