At last - the elusive Wiibroe Porter Imperial Stout is mine, as rating #3000. 330 ml bottle, at Plan B, Copenhagen. Black colour, moderate creamy tan head. Aroma of roasted malts, caramel, coffee, chocolate and liquorice, hints of oak and dark dried fruits. Roasty flavour, dark malts and coffee, hints of liquorice and dark chocolate. Lovely!

Pour is pitch black with very little chestnut brown head and quite a few bubbles. Nose is nice, fair amount of chocolate, hint of anise, slight roast coffee bean. Taste is much sweeter, sugar galore, berry, sweet caramel, light anise, roast is gone. Not good. Thin body, light carb, bitterness lingers.

Thanks to blutt59 for sharing this bottle.
The beer pours a dark brown to black color with red highlights and a tan head. The aroma is burnt and heavily roasted malt with some sugary notes. The flavor is burnt malt, smoke and sugar. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Thanks to Gunhaver for this one.
A: Pours a deep dark black hue with a 1/2 finger head that dies to a nice cap.
S: Nice roast aroma with hints of chocolate and coffee.
T: Nice and bold roasted slightly bitter coffee with hints of raisin up front. Touches of chocolate come thru in the finish with just a touch of booze.
M: Medium in body with a smooth alcohol burn.
D: Nice rare treat that I really enjoyed. Thanks Haver!

Thanks Maria for this thick bitter full stout. This 8.2% RIS had a 10-07-07 expiry date on it, does that mean its 9 months past, or is it a new way of keeping dates and there is lots of time to go. Second concern, expecting it to be a RIS I thought the sourness, which was interesting, to be reflecting the date.Thirdly, some mustiness in aroma - second from her shipment of 12 but more understandable if past due or is it how it was stored? So better than expectations going in, but as a baltic porter it would be even better.

Appearance: Pours a dark brown, near black body with a tiny, short-lived tan head.
Smell: Scents of dark grains, unsweetened chocolate, and a grape-like fruitiness all wrapped up in a soil-covered earthiness.
Taste: Dark, and I do mean dark, maltiness with a taste of chocolate and a medium sugary sweetness. Touch of ground spices. A grape-ish fruit flavor found in purple-colored candy, though please don't take that as anything bad. Very earthy throughout with a medium bitterness. Roasty, earthen finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-full body. Mild carbonation. Creamy mouthfeel.
Drinkability: Quite good! A breeze to finish when they're this tasty.

Great stout, chocolate sweetness (not too sweet), with a bitter coffee finish, and a bit of a spice, very yummy. It was sad to here that they are going to stop making this beer. it was one of my favourite Danish beers while in Denmark, better than Carlsberg Porter Imperial stout.
