a: pours a golden orange color with about a half inch of head that disappears quickly leaving a ring of lace around the edge of the glass and a faint cloud on top of the beer. There is a little carbonation continuing to rise to the top
s: sweet malt and grassy aroma, little hop bitterness
t: sweet malt flavor, little hop bitterness
m: light bodied beer with good carbonation
overall, this is a decent beer but i will not be buying it again

A - darker than expected for this style. White head drops quickly. Some light lacing.
S - very very faint smells. Difficult to perceive. Some rougher jerky like hops.
T - sucker punch of bitterness completely unexpected. Some sweet malty flavors.
M - very smooth and malty with a tiny sparkle of effervescance
D - was expecting a less bold more universal flavor. And was quite surprised by the character of this beer.

Had this over a friends house the other night.
Pale golden straw color with a thin white head. It lacked carbonation and looked pretty boring just sitting there.
The aroma has a pale malt, grassy smell with barly any hop presence.
The taste is plain and boring but is drinkable. There is a slight hop taste, I'm guessing saaz.
A bit more malty with pale malts and pilsner malts only with a breadiness at finish.
Drinks dry and slightly bitter on the palate.
This was an okay beer but I think the hop profile could more pronounced.

Bottle into Duvel glass
Appearance: Piss yellow, typical lager color, 1 finger off white head
Smell: bready notes, slight roasted malt, nothim much else.. very subtle earthy hops
Taste: very bready, almost rye taste, for the style there is plenty of flavor for sure.
mouthfeel: great carbonation and relatively full bodied feel for a lighter beer
overall: Probably my favorite lager, with Summerfest close behind. Basically, it's a Macro made the way it should be, with some actual flavor characteristics. Very smooth and refreshing, also if you are ever in Prague, visit the brewery and try this on draft, it's amazing.

Staropramen has a thick, off-white head and a clear, somewhat bubbly, golden appearance, with thin lacing left behind. The aroma is of sweet, biscuit and bready malt, with a touch of hop zing. Taste is of those elements, with a wonderful and dead-on hop bitterness rounding it out. Mouthfeel is light to medium and prickly, and Staropramen finishes crisp, clean, refreshing, dry, and delicious. Really, this is about as perfect as a beer can get, and I score it world class. This might be the best lager I’ve ever tried. Just fabulous and a must for beer lovers!
