A: Pours a golden straw with a foamy off white head that dissipates, but still sticks around for most of the brew.
S: Sweet, wheaty aroma and some grainy malts.
T: More like a wheat beer than a Belgian golden. Big, wheaty flavors with some vanilla, clove and candy banana flavors, spicy hops linger throughout. Really nice bready wheat aftertaste.
M/D: Carbonation is a bit high, but still light to medium bodied and easy to drink.
Overall, this is a nice brew, but not one I will go out of my way to pick up again. Since it tastes more like a wheat beer, I would prefer a Hoegaarden or a Weihenstephaner Hefe to this.

33 cL gold and brown can, poured into a tumbler in Toulouse, France. It’s a ‘dirty’ blonde, good white foam, gentle lace.
Aroma is like a page from a classic Belgian dubble playbook; yeasty, bready, caramel.
Taste is from the same book; there is welcome spice note, the caramel malt is sweet and pleasant. Hops play their supporting role, but the malt and spice are the stars.
Mouth is generously medium, leaning full. Medium carbonation.
Overall, fine drinking anytime of day Belgian Blonde.

L- Light amber, pours clear with a 2Cm dense white micro-bubble foam cap and decent ongoing rising CO2. Holds very well and forms lacing on the way down.
S- 'That spicy Belgian yeast thing' is going on.
T- (Lovely and rounded). It's quite rich/malty on the front going into a quite gentlly done rising dry hop note in the finish. That's repeats on the first few sips, very nice.
F- The richness^ on the front is very rounded it's what you'd expect from a say 6.7% abbey-Blonde. The hoppy finish is maybe a bit more prominent than usual but I think it brings a nice balance to it.
O- It's very nice, zero to object to. I'd happily buy/drink this again.
Bought from Trembling Madness, York. 330ml £3.15 BB: 23/05/2024

Pours a cloudy, golden amber coloration with a small, fluffy head. Smells of biscuity, slightly bready and caramelly malt and grassy, citrussy hops, as well as some estery spice, with notes of cloves, also coming through. Taste is a good balance of biscuity, slightly bready and caramelly malt, grassy, citrussy hops and fruity and spicy esters, with notes of apple and clove and nutmeg. Finishes bittersweet, with a light sweetness and and some sweet malts, citrus, apple and spice lingering in the aftertaste. Full mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
I think this makes for a tasty Belgian Blonde Ale that has a great balance of sweet malts, slightly bitter and citrussy hops and fruity and spicy esters going for it, as well as a very nice mouthfeel. It's pretty heavy on the hoppy citrus notes, which I personally don't mind at all, but still very well-balanced overall, making a very enjoyable example of the style.
