330ml bottle, poured into Leffe Chalice. Golden colour, small head which disappeared fairly quickly, clear, looked a bit flat. Aroma was syrup with some yeast. Tasted corn and syrup.
Slight bitterness in the finish. Sticky texture, fairly thick body, carbonation gave it a coarse edge. Was disappointed by this because Alken-Maes brew some passable beers, would honestly prefer to drink the kegged, brewed in GB version.

I drank this ... Australian/Belgian beer at home. 330ml bottle, “Brewed in the EU by N.V. Br. Alken-Maes S.A.” “Ingredients: Water, Malted Barley, Glucose Syrup, Hops”.
Appearance: Light yellow color, clear, not too fizzy but with a thick, white head that stays on as a thin, white layer.
Smell: Light hops with a sweetish smell of the “glucose syrup” or whatever adjunct it is they have in there.
Taste: The semi-sweetness is the dominant taste, without becoming annoying. Otherwise I don’t sense much else.
Mouthfeel: Light body, without feeling watery. Low carbonation.
Drinkability: Surprisingly, this seems fairly drinkable, not that it excites me in any way. I guess you could call it a “session beer”.

Why am I adding Foster's lager under a Belgian Brewery? Because this is not the same Foster you get back in the US. This Foster's is brewed in Belgium by the same brewery that makes Grimbergen, Judas, and other Belgian beers. Still a light golden hue with some mild head and fairly pleniful lacing. Nice malt skunky smell. Tastes better than some euro lagers and it has a light to medium bodied mouthfeel. Drinkability is slightly above average. Better than a bud light, anyday. Better than a Foster's too.
