When Sir Dunkle was poured it had a brown coloring to it. The smell was of logs and it was a strong smell. A touch of sweet when tasted almost of nuts except it was more sour and rich with maybe a pinch of bitterness to it. Did not care for this beer very much when we had it in class.

Poured from a twelve ounce bottle into a pint glass.

Pours medium dark brown, reddish tones, touches of white foam. Light malty nose. Faint banana. Nutty taste, light caramel. Bananas in the background yet again. A touch sweet. Decent blend. Better than other Berghoff blends.

Beer was poured out from the bottle and into a pint glass. It appeared hazy brown in colour, but still had clarity to it. Smelled of sweet malty caramel with slight roasty notes to it. Tasted very much like a wheat beer with a slightly malted aftertaste.

Would I buy this beer again? Probably not.
