A: Straw yellow with a decent sized, though soapy white head.
S: Very faint smell of sweet hops and grains.
T: Hardly a flavor, but the flavor is an innocuous sweetness that reminds me strongly of a Rolling Rock.
M: Heavily carbonated and light bodied.
O: Overall, this is a cheap beer you can find at some stores like Trader Joes. 4 dollars for a 6-pack of an American Pale Lager that tastes better than Rolling Rock or Budweiser. So, not a great beer by any means, but not bad either.

And here I thought Trader Joe's only offered Trader Jose and beers with "Trader" in the name! Pleasantly surprised to find this steal $3.99/6pk) on the shelf. Poured half a glass into a pint, drank the rest of out the can.
L - Golden lager with an inch of foam that doesn't stick around for long. Looks like any classic AAL. The can itself is vintage-looking and one of the reasons why I picked it up, granted, I knew I was getting into a Keystone/Natty caliber beer.
S - Metallic at first, then some banana, bubble gum, and cereal grain
T - Similar to smell, has that cheap, metallic flavor up front, but the malty corn/cereal grain finishes and is actually not half-bad
F - Thin, watery, very little carbonation but definitely a drinkable beer on a hot day
O - Can't be too critical of this low-end beer, good for TJ's offering this brew. Need to try Simpler Times and not sure I'd get this very often, but for a cheap, drinkable beer, I'll give it a passing grade.

Golden yellow beer, white head, minimal lacing. Little nose, typical malty aromas mainly. Taste could have been worse: it was a malt-driven, slightly sweet (corn?) lager flavor that should please those who mainly or only drink the mass-produced AALs and APLs. Not hard to drink, refreshing enough, and cheaper than a lot of more pretentious beers. Mouthfeel very slightly creamy, very slightly oily. Poured from a can bought at Trader Joe's (of course).

Appearance.
Body : Name Tag Lager pours a mellow golden body with a nice clarity.
Head : 3 fingers tall but fizzles out fairly fast. Leaves almost no head towards the end.
Smell.
Initial : Mostly musty grains, some corn and wet paper.
With Agitation : Candy corn notes come out much heavier.
Taste.
Front : Very mild malt flavor, a touch of hop, and mineral water. Quite a bit of fruitiness out front too.
Back : Begins to dry to a more solid crisp malt flavor, with a touch of pastiness.
Feel.
Sort of pasty, but still carbonated and crushable. Semi-pasty finish.
Overall : This beer, the first few times I had it was pretty decent. Then I found out it was from Minnehas and I realized all the flaws so prominent in their beers here. For $3.99 a six pack, it's not terrible. Still, there's better beers for only a little more money.

clear straw color with a finger of head that quickly dissipates
smell is bread and sweet corn.
taste is pretty weak, some sweetness coming through, although I cant really describe the flavor. its not that pleasant, but easy enough to pound.
feel is really light and heavily carbonated.
overall not great. the best thing i can say is that its beer?

Pours clear gold with a small white head that fades quickly, leaving only spotty lacing. Smells and tastes like grain, cooked corn, cloyingly sweet malt, Not good.
Light to medium bodied with too much carbonation. Not worth seeking out or trying again.

355ml Can brought home from Washington DC:
This one was a disgustingly cheap & nasty beer that seemed to have a lot of adjuncts coming through as well as skunky off-flavours that reminded me of everything I usually hate about mass produced pale lagers. The only plus at the time was my thinking that it was my first beer from Wisconsin until I realised I'd already tried a few from there in the past

Overall a little light and simple. Looks and feels pretty good, and the taste is nice enough, but thin. Not a huge impression but infinitely drinkable.

Looks, smells and tastes like cheap American beer. Tolerable but not as good as Simpler Times lager which at least had a decent citrus note. Best thing I can say is no off or skunky aftertaste.
