12 oz. bottle poured into stemmed waterglass (June 12, 2010).

I'm at a Brazilian restaurant, there is only one Brazilian beer on the menu and the rest of the menu is generic macros. I opt for the non-generic Brazilian macro.

Eyes: A very darkish brown thin fluid fills the glass. Almost no light passes through the liquid beneath the thin quarter inch of cream colored foam.

Nose: Poor. It looks like a beer with some body (bitter/porter/stout), and I expected something along that line, but it honestly smells like a generic strong macro.

Tongue: Better tan the nose would suggest, but that's not saying a whole lot. Some roasty malts, a hint of toast, but it all is a bit formulaic and artificial.

Mouth: Carbonation is minimal, but appropriate for the style. A more lively carbonation would make this beer unmanageable.

Libation: Aside from the aroma,this isn't terrible. It's worlds better than any BMC macro, but a macro nonetheless. Not coming back to this one anytime soon.
